1930 Packard Custom 8 740 7 Passenger Limo

1930 Packard custom 8 740 7 passenger seventh series super 8 with 140 1/2" wheelbase.  Wheelbases remained the same for the big Packards this year but the 4 speed transmission was new and 4.69:1 rear axle ratio was added.  The carb was Detroit updraft, vacuum booster pump and non shatter glass in all of the windows, parking lights were fender mounted, and dual spares were optional for the 740.  This one is fitted with optional running board sport light.  This was Packards big super 8 with 140 1/2" wb.  It is truly a survivor and comes from a great collection of authentic originals.  This one is in excellent survivor condition and is very rare.  This Packard has a solid straight body that's in need of paint.  The interior is grey ribcord useable and respectable with recent new whitewall tires.  This is the 7th series limo version with rear jump seats, trunk and rack.  It just came out of 40 years of storage.  The Packard super 8 engine still purrs and runs well.  Drive or show as a survivor or restore.  It's all complete and a great opportunity to own a super 8 Packard for the price of a Ford.  Complete video of this vehicle available for $50, refunded with vehicle purchase, and includes overnight shipping of video.  Call our classic car division at 815-385-8408 for video and/or vehicle information.
