    1940 Pontiac Series 28 Silver Streak Deluxe Coupe


    The deluxe 8 models used the same bodies as the deluxe 6 models.  An "8" emblem was affixed to the front chevron-shaped trim plate.  A Pontiac eight nameplate was on the rear deck.  The eight cylinder hood ornament had a plastic Indian-head mounted in a metal base.  The Lhead inline 8 248.9 cu in with 100 horse was a peppy engine for the coupe.  This one was recently rebuilt along with all new brakes.  This car was repainted 15 years ago and has nice chrome with grey mohair interior.  It is an excellent tour car example that runs and drives good.  Complete video of this vehicle available for $50, refunded with vehicle purchase, and includes overnight shipping of video.  Call our classic car division at 815-385-8408 for video and/or vehicle information.
