    1948 Mercury Series 89M Convertible


    1946 was the major post-war body change for Mercury, they were very simular thru 1948, completion of a 3 year run.  They were fitted with the Ford flathead 239 CID V8 which cranked 100 horse.  The body and grill were a beautiful well balanced design.  This car was a wonderful original showing 71,000 miles.  The paint is 20 footer, the body is excellent and solid, chrome is most all new and show, and the interior is all ivory leather seats and panels.  The top is tan harts cloth and the tires are new wide whitewalls.  The engine was recently tuned and is fitted with Eldebrock heads and 2 carbs, a mild custom that runs good.  Complete video of this vehicle available for $50, refunded with vehicle purchase, and includes overnight shipping of video.  Call our classic car division at 815-385-8408 for video and/or vehicle information.
