THE MIGHTY MITES WERE BUILT FORM 1960-63 AND WERE FOR MARINE USE ONLY. THEY WERE DESIGNED TO BE LIGHT WEIGHT, IT WAS AN ALL ALUMINUM BODY, ALUMINUM ENGINE AND EVEN THE BUMPERS WERE DRILLED OUT TO MAKE THEM EVEN LIGHTER. ONLY APPROXIMATELY 4,000 UNITS WERE BUILT. TOP SPEED WAS 62 M.P.H. AND COULD CLIMB A 45 DEGREE SLOPE. VERY RARE MILITARY VEHICLE. PRECEDING INFORMATION IS TO THE BEST OF OUR KNOWLEDGE.
