Engine has never been apart- all internals are original, as well as intake, heads, block, exhaust manifolds, ignition, etc. Regular maintenance items, such as hoses, belts, clamps, battery, water pump, wires, plugs, etc have been replaced. Even the factory air conditioning compressor is still in the engine bay. The owner was a stickler for maintenance and very detail oriented. The Trans Am still runs and drives as well as it did the day it was sold. In addition, there is an extensive file of repair and maintenance records dating back to 1974. The factory original Turbo 400 transmission has been rebuilt with slightly elevated shift points for more agressive driving. Original 2.56 10 bolt rear differential.
