#s match, Concourse restored. Amazing detail!

Car and Driver did a great job describing the new 427 in a Corvette. They used terminology like the 425 horses are of strength never before seen by man and it has the torque of a steam locomotive. All this in a small, lightweight roadster overwhelms the sensations!
This is a pristine #s matching example. It has been body off frame restored to factory condition. It has meticulous level of detail.

EXTERIOR: Gorgeous Nassau blue, original born color according to the tag. The body is amazing, the panels fit right. It's straight, no damage. The bulged hood let's you know there's a big block sitting under it. Headlights open and close properly. The paint has a smooth glossy finish, virtually flawless. The jambs are meticulously restored. Every piece of chrome and stainless trim is show quality. Glass is crystal clear. The convertible top is fully restored. The frame was painted, rubber replaced and new black convertible fits tight as a drum. The knock off wheels really look sharp. Of course they are pristine and have reproduction goldline tires.

INTERIOR: I am sitting in the car right now and it is pristine. Not only does everything look brand new but it all fits precisely. The seats have new cushions and the upholstery does not have a wrinkle. The correct seatbelts look brand new. Actually I can go on and on telling you how every part looks pristine. It really does! From the gauges, to the knobs, to the console it is like brand new. The tach has correct 6,500 redline, the clock works. The factory Am-Fm was restored, optional power antenna works. The interior lights, glovebox light works.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: #s matching 427! The L74 made 425 hp and 460 lbs of torque. The block was stronger, it used solid lifters, higher compression, a free flowing aluminum intake with a huge Holley carb on top. This is concourse restored to factory new. It Is also meticulously detailed. There is no dirt, wear or corrosion. Looks like it was restored an hour ago! Concord's! Correct spot welds on the valve covers and orange overspray on the factory aluminum intake. Complete ignition including stainless braided plug wires and spark plug shields. This motor came with deep groove pulleys so the belts don't fly off at high revs. Correct cooling system- radiator, clutch fan, hoses and clamps. Correct master cylinder, spring clamp battery cables, air cleaner etc.

UNDERSIDE: Wow, it is really detailed under this car. The body was lifted off the frame. The raw fiberglass floors were cleaned like new. The spare tire carrier looks like new. The chassis was disassembled and completely restored. All the steering and suspension front and back is rebuilt. Shocks, bushings, balljoints, springs were replaced. The chassis was prepped and detailed in factory finishes. They even duplicated assembly line markings. Correct exhaust system painted black like it is supposed to be. It has disc brakes at all 4 wheels. All the brake components are new or restored- calipers, lines, e-brake assembly etc. You could eat off the bottom of the motor. It has new fuel pump, correct starter and canister type oil filter. The correct amount of overspray is on the bellhousing. The Muncie 4-speed has correct casting # and the matching vin #. Original coded and dated 4.10 posi rear.

If a customer walked and and said take me to your absolute, most pristine car.....I wouldn't even hesitate, I would go straight to this one! I am so impressed with the level of detail. It looks correct and fresh. Aside from that it is also one of the most exciting cars of that era. The new ones don't rumble like this one!

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail.
