Rotisserie restored, dialed in. Rare car!

1 of only approximately 700 made with a 383 and a 4-speed! This one has been rotisserie restored. It is from a very fussy collector, it's dialed in. Stuffing a big block in a little Dart was a sure sign of the muscle car craze in the late 60s. You couldn't get power steering because there was no room! It comes with a binder of documentation.

EXTERIOR: The body is very straight, no rust or damage. The doors shut like a new car. The GTS comes with dual power bulges on the hood. Repainted its original dark metallic green without a vinyl top. The metal flake is laid out evenly. The clear coat has a very glossy finish. There are minor imperfections. Correct bumblebee stripe with the GT Sport call out. The grill and tail panel are good originals. The bumpers, door handles, taillights, correct antenna look new. The stainlessis straight and polished. The glass is nice and clear, new windshield. Jambs are painted nicely, weatherstrips were replaced. New Cragar SS wheels and BFG tires. Halogen headlights.

INTERIOR: It is exceptionally nice inside. The entire dash area sparkles. The original radio has been rebuilt with modern internals, it's Bluetooth! Center console is in mint condition. Seat belts look like they've been restored. New carpet and GTS floormats. After market oil and temperature gauge neatly installed below the dash. The headliner was replaced, dome light works. The metal trim was repainted. Door panels, armrests were replaced. The seats were rebuilt, recushioned and reupholstered. New headrests and visors. The circuit board was replaced. It has sound deadener under the carpet.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Professionally rebuilt and balanced engine with spec sheet. Bored 40 over making it a 390. It has reconditioned rods, new pistons, new bearings, Comp cam, rockers, pushrods, and oil pump. Edelbrock RPM upper end kit includes aluminum heads, intake and carb. It also has a forged distributor with electronic conversion and TTI shorty headers. Upgraded aluminum radiator. It has a show quality appearance. Correct air cleaner with the 383 pie pan and Mopar aluminum valve covers. The engine bay is all clean metal painted and clear coated. The original fender tag is still attached, the vin number on the core support matches. It has a Mopar battery topper, it's bolted down properly, has a disconnect switch. The squirters are hooked up, correct radiator cap, alternator looks new, horns are hooked up, it has hood insulation.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: I'm impressed by the trunk compartment. It's all clean metal painted gloss green. There is a spare tire and jack are properly stowed. It has a working trunk light. New weatherstrip, seat divider and an amp for the stereo.

UNDERSIDE: The front-end steering and suspension were rebuilt. Replaced quick ratio steering box and torsion bars. Upgraded front and rear swaybars. Body twist is prevented with welded in frame connectors. Rear springs and bushings were replaced, upgraded with air shocks. All new brake system, upgraded to 4 wheel disc. Custom e-brake assembly. TTI 2.5 inch dual exhaust with Dynomax mufflers, crossover pipe and stainless clamps. All new fuel system including tank, straps, sending unit and fuel line. Looking up at the motor it is spotless, has a high torque starter. The 833 4-speed looks fresh. Rebuilt driveshaft. 8 3/4 rear end with 3.23 Sure Grip gears the axles and bearings were replaced. Rock solid clean metal was prepped and neatly undercoated.

Service: We inspected the car and found nothing wrong! I love buying cars from this guy.

Rare and desirable. Ready to hit any car show, detailed and dialed in.

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car, make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded, and you will be given a 1 year membership.
