The "Crate Camaro"! All new, built on TV

Known as the "69 Crate Camaro". This is a new 1969 Camaro, literally! I don't think there is an original part on this car. Everything is new from the entire body to the entire driveline. This was built on Muscle Car TV over 22 episodes. It was sponsored by Year One and promoted on the Power Tour and at SEMA.

EXTERIOR: This is literally an all new '69 metal Camaro body by Dynacorn. It was professionally assembled and fitted. New latches, the doors open like new. It has a cowl hood and a Trans Am spoiler. It also has a front spoiler and a power antenna. Painted PPG Porsche guards red and Crystal Ball silver for the stripe. All of the chrome, trim, grills, taillights etc were new. All of the weather strips and seals were new. All of the glass was new. New black convertible power top. It's sitting proud on a set of 18 inch billet rally wheels with performance tires.

INTERIOR: All new! Wiring, vents, heater controls, handles, ashtray, seatbelts, console etc. It is lined with sound deadener. It is a deluxe interior with new door panels and upholstery. Custom instrument panel and gauges, embroidered mats and a tilt column with a leather wrapped wheel. A B&M shifter is fitted in a factory console. There is a stereo system with speakers and tweeters in the doors.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The motor is a ZZ4 GM crate motor, the previous owner gave it a complete performance make over. It's now a 377 cubic inch making 500 horsepower! It has aluminum heads, high rise aluminum intake, Holley Sniper fuel injection, MSD ignition and a set of headers. The front of the motor is all billet brackets, pulleys with serpentine belt, polished compressor and alternator. Modern power steering and power brakes. Runs cool with an aluminum radiator, custom shroud and electric fan. It's all new!

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the lid and jamb are painted slick red. It has a carpeted floor and stereo amplifier.

UNDERSIDE: Up front is a Chris Alston subframe unit with tubular upper and lower control arms, VariShock coilover adjustable gas shocks and custom drop spindles. It was recently given a new power steering rack. Frame connectors tie the front to the back to prevent body twist. It has all new leaf springs, bushings, shocks Caltrax tubular traction bars and upgraded sway bar. All new fuel system. All new exhaust with stainless mufflers. 13 inch drilled and slotted disc at all four wheels. Looking up at the motor it has an anodized oil pan and a high torque starter. the trans is a 4L60E electronic overdrive automatic. Custom drive shaft and a new Currie 9 inch rear end with posi gears. The underbody was all painted gloss Porsche red.

SERVICE: We inspected the car and tuned the fuel injection, repaired a vacuum leak, tightened loose fittings on the a/c, recharged the freon and lubed the window tracks.
