Fresh frame off restoration! Real SS.

Real Super Sport, 138 VIN. Just finished a body off frame, rotisserie restoration!

EXTERIOR: The body is excellent! It is straight with no rust or damage. The panels fit square and flush. Repainted its original Grotto Blue. The metal flake is laid out evenly, the clear is polished glossy. It has the correct SS stripe. Most of the chrome looks new, windshield and weatherstrips were replaced. It is sitting on a meaty set of tires and 15x8 Torque Thrust wheels.

INTERIOR: Blue interior looks great! It has factory console and bucket seats. It also has the unique "roll" tachometer and factory gauges. New deluxe wheel too. From carpet to headliner everything looks very nice. Dash pad, upholstery, door panels, armrests, carpet were replaced.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Very strong running 454 with an Edelbrock intake, Holley carb and headers. New chrome valve covers and air cleaner. Upgraded aluminum radiator. It has power steering. The metal surfaces are painted smooth.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and jamb are painted slick. Inside is spotless metal painted gray. New weatherstrip.

UNDERSIDE: The body was off the frame The chassis was completely rebuilt and detailed. It has the F-41 suspension which includes front and rear sway bars, boxed control arms in back. All the steering and suspension looks brand new. Upgraded air shocks in back. Also upgraded with polyurethane bushings including the body bushings. New brake system including the lines and hoses, it has disc in front. The e-brake is hooked up. Great sounding dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. The fuel system was replaced including the tank. Looking up at the motor is an extra capacity anodized oil pan and a high torque starter. It's a rebuilt Turbo 400 automatic. Rebuilt driveshaft leads back to a 12 bolt rear end with an aluminum finned cover. The floors are pristine metal painted the same color as the car.

SERVICE: We did our inspection and we spent $2,960. We adjusted the choke, installed the horns, lubed speedo and cable. We replaced the distributor, tachometer, heater ducts, defrost cable, heater core, turn signal switch, passenger mirror and gas cap.

This is a pretty car, the colors are great. The restoration is fresh, the underside really impressed me! It will be nice to know you have a real Super Sport.
