1938 Hudson Dick Tracy

From the Jay Ohrberg Hollywood Cars Collection

1938 Hudson, a Tribute to Dick Tracy

Built for and toured to over 30 Countries as part of the “Tribute to the Legends” tour.

This car started off as a 1938 Hudson and its body was highly modified.  All the modifications were done using steel, not fiberglass.  The body has been widened to allow for the cartoon-like balloon tires and a set of machine guys were mounted flush into the front fenders.  This car really does run and drive.

Jay Ohrberg has been inducted to the Hot Rod Hall of Fame and Guinness Book of World Records for his outlandish creations.   He has built many of the world’s most famous cars.  Including many for TV and movie use.

Volo Auto Museum acquired this car directly from Jay Ohrberg.  Authentication includes documentation from Jay Ohrberg.
