Willys Overland of Toledo, Ohio began production of their famous US Army

Willys Overland of Toledo, Ohio began production of their famous US Army "Jeeps" for the civilian market shortly after WWII.  Jeeps were considered among the first sport utility vehicles made in America.  The Jeep's rugged construction allowed its owner safe and sure driving through rough dirt track roads common throughout rural America.  The image of the outdoors sporting family was never without a Jeep station wagon from 1950 to the present day.  This original Jeep station sedan is very authentic and survives as an excellent running and driving model.  It has had only two owners in its lifetime and has been very well kept and maintained.  Even the authentic "basket weave" veneer panel accents survive on this Jeep's original hunter green paint.  This is the deluxe model of the 1949 Jeep lineup with removable rear seat and heater.  An ideal choice for the vintage Jeep collector or anyone fond of classic American utility cars.  Complete video of this vehicle available.  Call our classic car division at 815-385-8408 for video and/or vehicle information.
