The Chevrolet Series 490 Touring car featured here is an impressive restoration by a noted marque expert.

The Chevrolet H4 series was the first successful mass-produced model line just before GM's buyout two years later.  The combination of affordability (just $500 in 1916) and features made this line a strong rival of Ford's ubiquitous Model T.  The Chevrolet Series H4 Baby Grand featured here is an impressive restoration by a noted marque expert.  This car enjoyed a relatively recent cosmetic restoration with a coat Maroon paint for the body and traditional Japan Black for the fenders and undercarriage.  Varnished wood running boards accent the car's attractive appearance.  Black leatherette interior upholstery is in excellent condition with professionally trimmed foot and sideboard mats to finish out the open passenger's compartment. This is a rare antique pre-GM Chevrolet that is a perfect alternative to the Ford Model T.  This Baby Grand is tour ready just in time for the summer!
