1927 Kissel Roadster
Believed owned by Fritz Werner; Kissel design engineer. The Kissel was famous for the Kissel gold bug, built in Hartford Wisconsin. Known for fast sporty vehicles built for many movie stars from Mary Pickford, Amelia Earhart, Al Jolson and more. It is believed only 6 of the 655 speedsters are know to survive. Fritz Werner, design engineer for the Kissel motor company, was first owner of this car; which was handed down to the grandson who owned it there after. A true piece of History. This car was fitted with a boatail rear section many years ago, and maintains many of its original parts including - drivetrain, frontend, side mounts, bugle moto meter, Kissel headlights, steering wheel, wire wheels, ect. Runs and drives. 35,000 Kissel cars were produced and less than 200 survive today. Youtube video available upon request.
