And she was never late for a ball again....
CinderellaWhat's a Princess to do when she's running really late for a ball and her fairy godmothers pumpkin with wheels just won't do? She turns to her fairy godfather who supplies her a chariot with 450 horses in the form of a modified Shelby V-8 engine. Not only did she live happily ever after but Cinderella was never late again.
Originally this famous custom, known as “The Wake Wagon” was built by legendary customizer and promoter Ray Farhner in 1968. It was part of a showcase of cars called “Farhner's Hot Rod Funeral” The other cars that toured in this exhibit was the Boothill Escort, the Boothill Flower Car and the infamous Boot Hill Express. To promote his business of car customizing, Farhner developed and hosted many car shows, including the still popular world famous “World of Wheels” custom car show. It's no doubt Ray Farhner was one of the pillars of custom car history!
