The 1954 was powered by the 235 cu in Blue Flame inline 6 cylinder 155 HP; 2 speed Powerglide with drum brakes. The engines output was increased by 3 original Carter carburetor. It was decided by GM to build 10,000 units for 1954 and much consideration was given to a steel body; however the public seemed captivated by the lightweight fiber glass body. This Corvette was a late production build with original correct black and came with chrome rocker cover and dome style air cleaner and 3 Carter sidedraft carburetors.
