Factory correct, meticulous restoration!
Only 70 miles on a meticulous nut and bolt restoration. Restored to exact Yenko specs down to period correct motor, trans and rear. The only difference from a real Yenko is the price is $200,000 less!EXTERIOR: They didn't look this good new! The factory Rally green color really pops especially with the white Yenko stripes. Body has zero issues, it's straight and fits nice. Paint is polished like glass. Jambs are slick, eventhe latches are detailed. Every piece of exterior chrome and stainless is new. New grill, taillights, marker lights etc. All of the glass is new. Every weatherstrip, window seal and gasket is new. Has cowl hood and spoilers. New period correct Torque Thrust 15 inch wheels just like what came on a Yenko. New BFG tires.
INTERIOR: Completely restored like new from carpet to headliner. Rare period correct Stewart Warner gauges, the tachometer cost $1,300 5 years ago. New cushions in the seats, of course new upholstery, door panels, armrests. Even the little details like the mirror, window cranks, handles, shifter, glove box liner are new. Restored like new original seat belts. Dash area is completely restored-gauges, lenses, vents, heater controls, dash bezel, dash pad etc. Has deluxe wheel.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Immaculately detailed to factory specs. It is a genuine 1969 427 motor putting out 425 hp. Has factory aluminum intake, rare #s match COPO carb, big port heads, solid lifters etc. Every component is correct and restored- alternator, wiper motor, master cylinder, cadium plated brake booster, radiator with shroud. All new wiring harness, new horns, regulator, ignition system. Fully functional and complete cowl induction system. Correct hoses, clamps, battery cables, decals. Everything is properly installed and wiring is neatly ran.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: All clean metal with a durable coat of aqua spatter paint. Has correct 1969 jack, restored like new. New BFG tire on restored rally wheel spare. Bottom of trunk lid and jamb are painted slick. New decals, weatherstrip and detailed latches.
UNDERSIDE: Wow, it is detailed like a model car. It's not even dusty. The metal floors, rockers, inner 1/4s are spotlessly clean. Factory spotwelds and seams are pristine. It is painted a smooth satin black. The chassis components are completely rebuilt and detailed. Front end is all new. Bottom of motor is spotless. Trans is restored like new. It is a Rock Crusher M-22 4-speed. The rear end is a correct BV code 4.10 posi, completely rebuilt. Every single component is new or restored like new- shocks, springs, u-joints, starter, body bushings etc. New fuel system- fuel tank, straps, insulators, sending unit, fuel pump and lines. Completely new brakes (disc in front), e-brake, brake lines. New correct reproduction exhaust with transverse muffler.
This car is like a piece of art. I enjoy just admiring its beauty and workmanship that went into restoring it. With that said, if I owned it, it would have more then 70 miles on it. We are talking about a 427, 4-speed and a posi after all!
