Factory triple black 4-spd GTO. Concourse restored.

PHS documented, this is a genuine triple black GTO born with a 4-speed. Body on the frame concourse restored. Also has original proteprotect-o-plate, owner's manual and a 3 ring binder of documentation.

EXTERIOR: I am in shock the paint job on this car is over 20 years old and it is incredible. It is laser beam straight from every angle. I did not find a bubble, a shrink mark, a crack anywhere. It is literally like glass, you could read a dictionary in the reflection. The body panels fit perfectly square and flush. Really, it is amazing. It's a hundred times better than the factory did it when it was new. Every piece of trim is excellent. In front the grills, lenses and bezels are pristine. It has T-3 headlights. The stainless trim around the tops of the doors and around the windshield was straightened and polished. Has correct antenna. Emblems, mirror, door handles were replaced. In back it's all pristine too. It has been upgraded with a black German cloth convertible top and a glass window. The top frame has been completely restored, new weather strips. The door jambs have been painted real slick, new weather strips and window seals. New sill plates are polished bright. The rally 1 wheels are original GM with original centers and reproduction trim rings. It has reproduction redline tires.

INTERIOR: Outstanding condition inside too. The seats were rebuilt- new cushions so the upholstery fits tight as a drum. All the trim around the seats is pristine. The side panels, armrests window cranks are all mint. The entire dash area is pristine. The dash pad, the wood grain, chrome bezels are excellent. The metal is painted gloss black. The heater controls, knobs and vents sparkle. Factory Am-Fm radio plays clearly. It has restored rally gauge package and a pristine deluxe wheel. Down on the floor it has new carpet, reproduction mats and a console with a walnut knob on the 4 speed shifter. Interior lights work. New visors and mirror.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Correctly coded and dated 1966 389 with a proper tri-power system has been added. The motor was completely rebuilt with new pistons, bearings, turned crank etc. The carbs have correct linkage and air filters. Everything in the engine compartment was restored. It features power steering and power brakes. Has correct GM hoses, clamps and spring clamp battery cables. They reapplied assembly line markings on the firewall. It features power steering and brakes.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Clean trunk compartment. All solid metal with a nice spatter finish paint. Has the correct two piece rubber mat and spare tire cover. The jack has restored. Weatherstrip is soft.

UNDERSIDE: Completely solid. The front end has been completely rebuilt and detailed. Rear suspension was replaced too. Brake system was restored, upgraded to disc in front. Has e-brake assembly. Bottom of the motor is clean, starter looks new. The 4-speed trans was rebuilt and is still fresh looking including the linkage. It is an M20 wide ratio. Has 3.55 gears in the rear end.

I personally drove this car and it is spot on! It functions like new. This car was restored over 20 years ago but only 2,000 miles have been put on. It was obviously restored to a high standard and very well cared for because it looks and functions incredibly well. You wont regret this GTO!
