88 miles on frame off restoration!

Real V-8 Bel Air hardtop. Less then 100 miles since body off frame restoration.

EXTERIOR: This classic 2 door hardtop was restored to look like it did in 1957. It was an Onyx black car to begin with. The body is straight with no damage or rust. It was completely repainted. All the chrome was replaced. All the stainless trim around the windows and down the sides was replaced or restored. The jambs were restored, weatherstrips replaced. The tires are reproduction white walls.

INTERIOR: It was completely gutted, the floors are lined with Dynamat sound deadener. The metal trim is painted smooth and glossy. The speedometer is new, the trim is new. The upholstery and door panels have been replaced just like the original. I like the chrome piping on the seats. The armrests, window cranks and handles were replaced. The headliner, visors and mirror were replaced, the dome light works.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It has a 283 power pack motor. Correct 4 barrel carb, stock manifolds, valve covers and even the air cleaner. The generator was upgraded with an alternator (generator is included). It also has an aluminum radiator to keep it running cool. The battery is bolted down properly. It has electric wipers.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Real clean, all the metal is painted black. The weatherstrip was replaced. It has a 5th matching white wall tire for a spare on a painted rim. Custom made carpet floor mat.

UNDERSIDE: The body was off the frame. The chassis was completely restored, all the front suspension and steering was replaced. In back it has new bushings and shocks. New dual stainless steel exhaust system. New fuel system including the tank, straps and sending unit. The brakes were restored, e- brake assembly is hooked up. Looking up at the motor it still looks very fresh, you can see new freeze plugs. It has correct canister type oil filter. It has a correct Powerglide automatic transmission. Original 1957 rear end with 3.73 gears. The floors are restored, all nice looking metal painted red oxide primer with a clear coat for protection.

The 57 Bel Air is arguably the most popular collector car of all time. This one has a fresh body off frame restoration to very nice condition. Great the way it is as a show car driver. A bit more detailing can bring it to the next level if you want one to park in your living room.

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail.
**These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded and you will be given a 1 year membership.
