62,682 miles. Mostly original paint! She is a sweetheart.

62,682 mile survivor! This is mostly original including paint and interior. Correct 327, 4-speed and posi. Same family owned most of it's life in rural Illinois.

EXTERIOR: Original metal, actually it's mostly original paint! No rust or damage, the gaps are right on. Doors shut like a new car. When you walk up to the car the paint presents itself really well, glossy red finish. Pull it in the garage you will see original paint patina. The original chrome and trim is very nice, only gentle wear. It has dual bowtie mirrors, rear mount antenna and original door edge gaurds. The spinner hub caps look great, it's riding on radial tires. It has original T3 headlights. Love the round taillights! The black top is power, it's in excellent shape and has a glass window.

INTERIOR: Excellent condition. The dash area is mint. The carpet is very good, the best part is that shifter sticking out of the hump. It's the correct bench seat handle with reverse lock out. The upholstery and door panels are excellent. It has seat belts in front.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Correct 327-250 hp with 4 barrel carb. Correct manifolds, valve covers, carb, air cleaner etc. It has optional power steering. The engine bay has clean original paint, it still has assembly line writing on the firewall. The glass bottle with extra washer fluid is still there. The battery has a Delco topper and cut off switch. The heat shields are still protecting the spark plugs.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Very rare to see, it has mostly original spatter paint. It's only touched up under the mat. The red in the jamb and under the lid is original and excellent. It still has the original stickers including the one for the posi rear. Rust free original metal including the quarter panels. It has jack and spare assembly. The mat and well liner look great. Original weatherstrip still.

UNDERSIDE: Very well preserved original underside. It has original metal with no rust. The floors, rockers, lower quarter panels are all uncut original metal. It has factory undercoat. Correct replacement dual exhaust. Maintained as needed. Miscellaneous front end parts, shocks, brake hoses have been replaced. Looking up at the motor it is clean, has fresh Chevy orange paint. It also has correct starter and canister type oil filter. Vin # matching, original M20 Muncie 4-speed trans. Original # match 12 bolt 3.31 posi rear.

This is unbelievable. It's not too often a red 4-speed convertible is left alone. Desirable cars like this get used so finding a low mile original is very unusual. Rare and desirable, isn't that what makes something valuable? Don't miss this opportunity.

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail.
