Unrestored original in show condition! 37,700 miles.
This is a 37,700 mile survivor! Mostly original paint and original interior. Always garage kept. 1 family owned. A father bought it for his son as a Christmas present. This car is in amazing condition. Fit, finish and function is very impressive. Very desirable M code 351 4 barrel Cleveland motor. It is documented with an Elite Marti Report.EXTERIOR: Original rust free, damage free metal. No rust, no damage. The panels fit precisely; doors shut like new. Claimed to be mostly original paint and it still shows great! Very desirable Calypso Coral color is smooth and glossy with minimal patina. All the trim, stainless and chrome is excellent. It is decked out with spoilers, louvers, stripes and hood scoop. The turn signals work in the scoop. New Magnum 500 wheels with reproduction Wide Oval tires.
INTERIOR: Rare deluxe Vermillion interior. Dash area is pristine original. It's not cut, faded, scratched, or worn. Deluxe door panels are mint, the lights work, and they have the stereo speakers. The high back bucket seats have excellent original upholstery. The console is mint. All the plastic trim is excellent. It is close to new original condition, very impressive. The rim blow horn works. There is 1 hole in the headliner, a new one is included.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Very desirable M-code 351 Cleveland with a 4 barrel carb. It is in excellent original condition. Correct throughout including original paint stamps, and stickers. Reproduction hose and clamps, Ford battery topper. All the metal surfaces are clean. The original buck tag is still attached to the fender. Features include power steering and brakes.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Original trunk compartment is in excellent shape. Original tire for a spare, original jack.
UNDERSIDE: The front-end suspension and steering was just taken all apart, rebuilt and detailed right down to the proper assembly line markings. The rear suspension was also rebuilt and detailed. New fuel tank and sending unit. New correct dual exhaust system with crossover pipe, factory style mufflers and chrome tips going out through the valence. Drum brakes all around, e-brake assembly is hooked up. Looking up at the motor it's clean, the fuel pump and starter have been replaced. Original FMX Cruise-o-matic transmission has been serviced. Drive shaft is detailed with correct markings. The rear end was completely detailed, still has the factory tag and 3.25 gears. Rust free floors, frame rails, lower quarters etc.
There are other 70 Mach-1s out there, they are not this one! This is an amazingly well-preserved survivor. It's mostly original but presents itself like a show car. Rare to find any muscle car in this condition.
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car, make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded, and you will be given a 1 year membership.
