Body off frame restored! 1 owner 30 years.

Same owner the last 30 years! He did a full body off frame restoration in the early 2000s. Only 2,167 miles since finished, recently serviced. It was upgraded with a GM crate motor, HD trans, power steering, power disc brakes and more!

EXTERIOR: The body is straight and fits great. The closer I looked, the more impressed I became. The 2-tone paint is sharp, it is smooth and glossy. On the hood only there is some checking in the paint. All the chrome and stainless trim was replaced or restored. New smoked glass. 15 inch chrome Rev wheels on BFG tires. Weatherstrips were replaced.

INTERIOR: Custom upholstered seats and door panels similar to the original style. Hand cut carpet and mats with bound edges. Headliner was replaced. The metal trim is painted smooth. New trim and knobs on the dash. A retro stereo fits in the factory hole. Custom rear deck with speakers. Even under the dash is restored. Seat belts in back for the grandkids!

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The motor is a GM Performance crate 350 HO. It makes 330 hp/380 lbs of torque. It was sold new with 4 bolt mains, cast nodular crank, powdered rods, aluminum pistons, Vortec heads, aluminum intake and a Holley 600 carb. It also has electronic ignition and headers. Upfront it has aluminum pulleys, new alternator, chrome bracket, Upgraded electric wiper system. Upgraded power steering and power brake systems. New wiring harness. Runs cool with aluminum radiator and electric fan. The engine bay is clean metal painted very nicely.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and jamb are painted nicely. New latch mechanism and weatherstrip. It has been boxed and upholstered to match the interior. Matching tire cover over the spare. Carpeted floor with bound edges.

UNDERSIDE: The body was off the frame for restoration. All clean metal floors, rockers, and braces. It's so clean they painted it gloss red. The frame and chassis is all painted gloss black
The front end steering and suspension was completely rebuilt. In back the springs, bushings and shocks were replaced. The fuel system was replaced including the tank. It has a dual exhaust with Magnaflow stainless mufflers and a crossover pipe. The brakes were rebuilt, upgraded with disc in front. Looking up at the motor it's clean, still has the GM tag on the side. It also has a high torque starter. The trans is a heavy-duty Turbo 400 automatic completely rebuilt by KB transmissions. The drive shaft was rebuilt.

Our shop inspected and serviced the car. We spent $2,450: replaced valve cover gaskets, oil line to the gauge, repaired dipstick tube, replaced trans pan gasket, speedometer was calibrated, tightened, and adjusted steering column, lubed and tightened window tracks, replaced door lock cylinders and rods. We installed the wheels and new lug nuts. Turnkey ready to drive, ready to show, ready to take the kids for ice cream!
