600 miles on frame off resto! A/c, cowl induction.

Only 594 miles on a total body off frame restoration. It's the poster child of the muscle cars: a red 70 SS454 with cowl induction! Having a Rock Crusher 4-speed, a/c and other fun stuff makes it even that much better.

EXTERIOR: It has a very clean, straight body that fits nice. That's an actual cowl induction hood with the working flapper door. The red paint is polished very smooth and glossy. The stripes are smooth to the touch. It's kind of presents like a showcar. There are a few minor flaws if you look for them. The vinyl top was replaced. All the chrome and stainless trim has been replaced or restored. All the weatherstrips and seals were replaced. It's rolling on a modern version of Rallys. They are billet wheels: 19 inch in front, 20s in back and extra wide. They are wrapped in performance sneakers.

INTERIOR: Restored from carpet to headliner to factory condition. The upholstery, door panels, armrests, were replaced. The entire dash area is new: pad, instrument panel, vents, knobs etc. It has the factory gauges including tachometer. Upgraded Vintage Air control panel. The factory AM-FM stereo is built with modern internals. The tilt column has a new deluxe wheel. Correct shifter boot and bezel around the 4-speed. Full set of seat belts.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It is completely restored keeping it stock in appearance. The 454 has a factory LS6 aluminum intake. Stock, exhaust manifolds, carb, fuel lines, valve covers, brackets etc. On top it has a complete cowl induction air cleaner assembly. It has air conditioning, power steering and brakes. Every component looks new- alternator, wiper motor, brake booster etc. It has reproduction hoses, clamps, and a Delco battery topper. Squirters are hooked up, it has proper fan and shroud, both horns etc. Everything is painted and detailed real nice.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and jamb are glossy. Inside is solid metal with a neat spatter finish. The weatherstrip, decals, mat and matching tire cover were replaced.

UNDERSIDE: The front end steering and suspension is all new. Upgraded fat tubular control arms and swaybar. Front and back it is upgraded with Koni gas shocks, polyurethane bushings and BMR lowering springs. In back it has custom upper and lower control arms and swaybar. It's a new fuel system including the lines and tank. New factory type dual exhaust system with the correct resonators and cowbell tips. All new brake system, it has disc in front. The lines, hoses and e-brake cables have been replaced. Looking up at the motor it's clean Chevy Orange, fresh starter. It has the legendary M-22 Rock Crusher Muncie 4-speed trans and new Hurst linkage. New drive shaft going back to a 12 bolt 3.31 posi rear end. The floors are all clean metal, prepped and painted black.

SERVICE: After inspection we repaired the reverse lights and wipers. Repaired visors from falling down and calibrated the speedometer.

This is a fresh nut and bolt restoration of arguably the most iconic muscle cars! Why wait a year or two to build one, this is serviced and ready to enjoy.
