Best of both worlds! This started life as a top of the line 35th anniversary SS Z-28 convertible. It then underwent a retro conversion to look like a 1969 RS Z-28. Reliability and performance of a modern car with looks of a classic! Only 5,625 actual miles, 2 owners, clean Carfax. I just spoke to the owner that had it built, he said it never seen a drop of rain.

EXTERIOR: Check it out! Actual metal 1969 panels were custom installed, even the cowl hood. Up front is a completely stock 1969 Rally Sport front end, the same dimensions as the original. The rear end is also the same dimensions as the original. The trunk is not modified, it would bolt right on a 1969. It also has front and rear spoilers. The doors have the bodyline to match the fenders. Custom relocated gas cap. Repainted it's original Bright Rally Red with black painted Z-28 stripes. The halogen headlights are hidden behind the electric RS doors. The taillights are stock 69 with $1,000 upgrade LED sequintial bulbs. RS reverse lights are correctly mounted below the bumper. The marker lights in the fenders are stock 69. Original 69 chrome bumpers with optional bumper guards. Original black cloth power convertible top with a glass window. We just installed new tires on the 17 inch chromed Z06 wheels. There are custom red Camaro caliper covers showing behind the wheels.

INTERIOR: Completely bone stock 2002 Camaro SS interior and it looks practically brand new. It's loaded up with factory options too. It has all the power accessories: seat, windows, locks, mirrors and trunk. It has two tone leather upholstery with SS embroidery. Factory Monsoon 500 stereo with optional CD changer. It also has steering wheel controls, rear defrost, cruise control and air conditioning. It's never been smoked in, the lighter and ashtray are perfect. The manuals are in the glove box.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It is bone stock and looks brand new. The original all aluminum LS1 5.7L engine makes 325 horsepower. All the components, wires, hoses are stock. Service it anywhere you would service a 2002 Camaro.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It's a power trunk release from the keychain or inside the car. Inside has the felt liner with a carpet mat.

UNDERSIDE: It's obvious looking under this tired that it's never seen a winter. It's exceptionally clean. Smooth metal still has the factory red overspray on the floors. Being the anniversary edition, it has the high performance ride and handling package. There's Bilstein gas shocks, rack & pinion steering, and front and rear sway bars. Disc brakes at all 4 wheels. Performance stainless exhaust with a polished Magnaflow muffler. Looking up at the motor it is all aluminum and has a high torque starter. Its factory trans is the 4L60E automatic overdrive. An aluminum drive shaft leads back to a limited slip rear end.

SERVICE: We inspected the car and replaced seatbelts guides, front spoiler, and a set of new tires.

These were being built and selling for $100,000 back in 2002. Today a company is building modern Trans Ams, GTOs and Chevelles and they start at $165,000 with a waiting list. This is a great value. Perfect for the person that wants a 69 Camaro but is spoiled with modern comforts and reliability. I don't know of any 69 Camaro with air bags or antilock brakes!
