Many Ford 250's from the 1970's are still running today.  Ask an owner to part with one of these sturdy work trucks and they're likely to tell you it's not for sale.  The 6th generation F series featured a beefed up front grille and a larger cab interior.  The camper special option package offered 4.10 gears, heavy-duty leaf springs, and an optional exterior mounted spare beneath the bed.  All of these upgrades made this 3/4 ton pickup ready to roll with big loads, over mud, gravel and busted asphalt.  This F250 arrives to our showroom clad in forest green with a recent restoration by a veteran mechanic.  The truck was taken down to the frame and built back up with a powerful Ford 390 engine and a brand new C6 transmission.  The truck is geared low for real-world work and hauling.  The tailgate was replaced with a custom fabricated, heavy-duty version that looks much more sturdy than the original, without looking out of place.  The restoration was finished with a proper coating of LineX to ensure a long service life from the bed.  Don't mistake this one for a plain old F250, this is a no - B.S. workhorse that can take a beating and keep rolling for years.  Complete video of this vehicle available.  Call our classic car division at 815-385-8408 for video and/or vehicle information.
