The 1953 models showed very little change from the 1952 except for the trim and finish.  A new hoodside nameplate appeared with the 3100 series, grills were painted, and chrome not available.  Rectangular park lights were placed between the grill bar, and all bumpers painted.  Corner cab windows were optional and the 3100 offered a side mount spare in a left hand welled fender.  This truck was body up restored a dozen years ago with new paint, interior and glass, and fitted with Goodyear ribbed white walls.  Engine and transmission rebuilt.  Good fit solid truck in excellent tour condition, with rear oak sides and cover.  A good looking and driving 3100 series 1/2 ton truck.  Complete video of this vehicle available for $50, refunded with vehicle purchase, and includes overnight shipping of video.  Call our classic car division at 815-385-8408 for video and/or vehicle information.
