The Cadillac V-Series is a line of high-performance vehicles from the General Motors Performance Division. Each model in the V series varies from generation to generation. When debuting, the first-generation CTS-V was dubbed a four-door Z06 and praised for its elements of refinement and its ability to perform.

Additionally, Cadillac rolled out the CTS-V coupe and wagon models during the 2011 model year. Multiple limited-edition CTS-V models were made from 2016 to 2019, including the Carbon Black Edition, Pedestal Edition, Crystal White Frost Edition and the Championship Edition. The third generation of the Cadillac CTS-V was slightly delayed from the start of the CTS, introduced in the 2014 model year. The third generation of the CTS-V began in 2016.
