Showcased here is perhaps one of the most lavishly optioned and upgraded Ford Model A Coupe's we've offered at Volo Classic Cars!  Absolutely no expense spared in restoring and equipping an already very desirable late year Model A with an engine, drivetrain and electrical system that would knock everyone's socks off!This fine coupe enjoyed a thorough restoration in the late 1990's and had it's original engine replaced in 2005 with an outstanding Bouldin & Bouldin rebuilt inline 4 with a pressurized oil system, insert bearings, a lighter flywheel, V8 clutch & pressure plate, a Winfield touring camshaft, and a Brumfield mid-compression head.  Aspiration is provided by a Weber 2 barrel downdraft carburetor with a matched aluminum intake.  On the other end, exhaust was upgraded with a Reds coated header fitted to an authentic Aries muffler. The old generator was replaced with a 6V alternator and a "points-free" solid state ignition system, which is a welcome relief to anyone that's worked on points.  Tachometer and oil pressure gauges were added along with a complete overhaul of the brakes with new cast iron drums, shoes, hardware and Flat Head Ted brake floaters, a package that vastly improves the stopping power especially in modern day traffic.Additional safety accessories include: driver and passenger seat belts, bright LED tail lights, turn signals and rear window brake arrays, all 6volt.  The most recent mileage is logged at 10,000 miles on the newer engine, saving the best miles of this exceptional Ford Model A Coupe for the next owner.  Will you be the one to own this magnificent Ford Model A today?  Youtube video available upon request.  Call our classic car division at 815-385-8408 for video and/or vehicle information.
