Holy grail of Z-28s! A black -white houndstooth deluxe interior Rally Sport! All numbers match throughout, has protect-o-plate and invoice. Just finished a nut and bolt restoration to factory specs except upgraded radial tires. We have a list of correct part numbers from the heads, manifolds and pulleys down to the thermostat, coil and even the fan. The engine is vin and date matched, actually the vin us stamped in the rough cast by the oil filter and that can't be tampered with. M-22 rock crusher is date and vin matched. Correct 3.73 posi, carb, alternator, distributor and starter. It's correct down to the dated glass, seat belts, smog equipment and spiral shocks. Of course the #s and docs are important but wow, look at this car, it's gorgeous! Restored better then new. The paint is like glass, you can't feel the stripes. All the chrome, trim, rubber etc is new. The stunning interior also restored like new. Motor compartment and underside is restored and detailed like it just rolled off the assembly line. Trunk compartment is restored, has matching spare and restored jack. Incredible driver. The Z was a factory high performance car underrated at 290 hp, this car was actually dyno tuned at 395 hp. Everything was rebuilt and everything works down to the headlight washers. If you want the best, you just found it.
