Pristine 1 owner car, 28,880 miles!

This is a meticulously cared for, 1 owner Porsche with only 28,880 actual miles. I don't typically deal with these, I bought it because of condition. The Porsches have also skyrocketed in value, so the entry level cars are becoming very desirable too. When the 924 was introduced in 1976 it produced 100 hp. By 1987 it was producing 150 hp! It's actually a great package. Porsche lost their source for the 2.0 liter engines. So they decided to use their 2.5 liter engine from the 944. They also upgraded the 924 to have the 944 brakes and 5 lug wheels. The 924 is a smaller body so it's actually like a Porsche muscle car- big engine in a little body!

EXTERIOR: I've just inspected it closely and I certainly believe this is all original paint and it's so nice it's almost too good to be true. Aside from a couple of very minor tiny nicks it is pretty pristine. There's no door dings, no damage, no scratches, no rust. The Porsche red finish is still polished glossy. The door jambs are spotless. Front and back bumpers are excellent, glass is excellent. Rubber seals and weatherstrips are excellent. The top has a power lift and it is removable. It stows in back in it's own storage bag. Has good looking wheels on Dunlip tires that look new.

INTERIOR: I'm sitting in the car as I write this. I am going to be the one to tell you it is like brand new. There are no cracks in the dash or any of the plastic. Nothing is worn, the center console is in pristine condition. Not smoked in, ashtray and lighter have not been used. Everything is like it left the factory. The stock blaupunkt stereo works great. The upholstery, carpet, headliner is all mint. Upon closer inspection I noticed the seats have Porsche repeatedly stitched across them. I did find one thing wrong, the little clips that hold the visors are both cracked. If that's all that's wrong, I'm thrilled.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: 2.5 liter with fuel injection is putting out 150 hp. Even the motor compartment looks new. The owner must have kept it wiped and clean. The components are clean and orderly. Nothing looks altered.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: In the hatch area is like new. Carpet is mint, has retractable sun shade. Under the carpet is clean red paint. The Porsche mini air compressor is stowed in back. Jack and spare are complete.

UNDERSIDE: Very clean original condition. No rust or damage. Everything looks orderly and proper. It has disc brakes at all 4 wheels. It has 5-speed trans.

This Porsche also includes the glovebox pouch with manuals, original salesman's card, service records, mileage documentation etc. It's a pristine Porsche for $18,000!
