Factory red a/c, ps, pdb. #s match Calif car!

#s match motor, factory color and it was born with a 4-speed, a/c, power steering and power disc brakes. California rust free and ground up restored. This is a super desirable Mach 1!
It was sold new at Pasadena Motors in California. It then moved to Arizona where it lived the majority of it's life. The previous owner bought it already restored and had it shipped to Illinois 10 years ago. Of course it was garage kept. He enjoyed it about 400 miles a summer with no issues.

EXTERIOR: The 1969 Mach 1 fastback in my opinion is one of the sharpest cars of all time. This one is redone in it's factory candy apple red color and with the stripes, mirrors, scoops it's a knockout. I'm calling it show condition because it was done from the ground up and taken really good care of. I am eyeing up the sides of the car right now and it's laser straight, the reflection in the paint is like a mirror. The blacked out hood treatment is actually painted on and it's gloss black, the scoop is painted gloss too. Up front all the trim, grill, bumper, spoiler look new. Working my way back the windshield and all the stainless trim around the windows is like new. The rear window is crystal clear. The door handles are new. In back the bumper, gas cap, emblems are replaced. Has the GT splitter exhaust tips. The Mach 1 decals on the sides and trunk are reflective. The door in the jambs are glossy and smooth. The weather strips and sill plates are excellent. It has the original door trim tag, not a reproduction. The window seals at the tops of the doors have been replaced. The 15 inch chrome Magnum wheels and Good Year tires look new.

INTERIOR: Mach 1s came with the deluxe interior that included high back bucket seats, molded door panels and console. Everything is in excellent shape inside this car. The dash pad has been replaced, it's NOT a glued on cap. Door panels, upholstery and carpet have been replaced. There are also embroidered floormats. The headliner was replaced and it tight as a drum. The instrument area and console are excellent. New chrome bezels around radio/heater and on console. There is a retro Mustang stereo with aux plug in the factory hole. It has the optional factory speakers in the door panels. Clock is rebuilt with quartz movement. It has the correct shift handle and knob. In back it has optional fold down seat, all the surrounding plastic trim is real nice. All the interior lights work including in the doors. It's all great- the knobs, seatbelts, etc. Original steering wheel is the only part that doesn't look new, but it's still very nice.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It is actually over restored to show condition. The bottom side of the hood and the engine bay is all painted gloss red. The factory seams and spot welds are clean. The motor is VIN number matched to the car. It's the very desirable 351 M code Cleveland and it has been enhanced a bit with a powder coated Edelbrock intake, big dual feed Holley, MSD ignition, coated headers and a little hotter cam. It's dressed up with some nice finned valve covers. It is a factory air conditioned car but the system was upgraded woth a newer compressor and now has R134 freon. All the components look really nice- power brake and steering, alternator, radiator, voltage regulator etc. It has reproduction radiator hoses and clamps. Wiring is all neat, the turn signals on the hood are even wired up. Everything looks proper- has washer bottle hooked up, battery is secured, horns are hooked up, hinges look clean.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It still has it's original red paint from the factory, all in good condition. The quarter panels are the originals. There is a new gray speckled rubber mat and there's also a car cover. The original jack is there, the spare got left at a shop years ago. Bottom of the trunk lid is painted glossy, has new decal and the latches are cleaned. Weatherstrip was replaced. The jamb is glossy has the nice clean factory seams.

UNDERSIDE: Clean rust free factory metal. The floors, frame rails and inner rockers are clean. It has its floors plugs and even the drain plugs in the lower inner 1/4s are still there. Upfront the suspension and steering is rebuilt and detailed. It was recently aligned and inspected. It has disc brakes in front, they were also inspected. Bottom of the motor is still clean, starter looks new. The 44-speed top loader trans is clean, shift linkage looks new. Rear end was restored, has posi unit. The gas tank, shocks and exhaust were replaced. It has glass packs and the transverse muffler. E-brake is still hooked up. Very clean and proper underneath.

This Mach 1 has so much to offer! The awesome factory options and colors, it's a California rust free, #s match, documented car. What more do you want, gold plating?
