Desirable and sharp "Suicide Slab" on air-ride.

A true head turner! Desirable and popular Suicide Door Continental on air-ride. This is a very clean, un-molested original car that has had a few custom touches added.

The car itself is a rust-free California car showing 40k miles that had not been tampered with or driven into the ground and brought back from the dead, its a survivor with original interior, chrome and trim. The stock wiring has not been cut up or tampered with, all new wiring was ran separate for the stereo and air-ride. Heck, even the factory power antenna and clock still work in this car!

The outside: Rust-free clean California sheet-metal. Its a factory white car that was given a quality repaint while leaving the paint in the jambs original. The chrome and trim was removed from the car when painted. All the trim is straight with luster, the chrome around the windows are shiny with no pits, the glass is clear without any separation. The glass was professionally tinted. The bumpers are is great condition but have a few small dings and a little dulling on the edges. The trunk and engine bay are original paint in great condition. Both trunk and engine bay are cleaned up and very presentable.

Interior: Original leather upholstery showing little to no wear. New carpet enhanced with Loyd Design embroidered floor mats. Dash is all stock and not cut up for anything aftermarket. It has the original AM radio in the dash, still hooked up and a concealed Alpine stereo with remote and Bluetooth in the glove box. You can pair the radio up to your cell phone for hands-free talking. There are 6 speakers inside the car and 2 sub-woofers in the trunk, they are powered by 3 large amplifiers that will blow you out of the car! The car was also lined with Dynamat sound proofing.

Mechanics: The original engine was completely rebuilt by Jasper with the addition of an aluminum intake. Rebuilt transmission., distributor was upgraded to electrical Pertronix, new exhaust, recent brakes and tires. During the polar vortex and 30 below degree weather, this car fired right up and ran smooth as a Swiss watch!

Air ride: Don't confuse this air-ride with a cheap rough riding system that most Lincolns are running. Its about a $10k set up! Lots of people will lower their Lincolns by adding blocks to the top of the leaf springs and then use an air-type shock to raise them back up. This car has a Street Scraper suspension front and rear. The rear is a 4 link system that eliminates the leaf springs with use of actual air-bags and not air shocks, this give total control of ride-height and softness. The front kit uses tubular a-arms, replaces the springs with air bags also giving total control of height and softness. On this car the shocks were relocated to allow the car a soft ride while keeping the front end stiff and not bouncy. The car uses a 2 compressor Smart-Ride air management system. There is a controller hidden in the front ash-tray that allows you to control your ride height electronically by both air pressure and height, there are censors at all 4 wheels that will automatically level the car.

Undercarriage: The underside of this car is extremely clean with no rust, there are even many areas of the factory white paint showing on the floor boards where it wasn't covered by the factory undercoating. There are still factory markings under the car as well. The pinch welds and spot welds are all clean and visible even behind the rear wheels where they are usually patched. Not restored or detailed but an undercarriage to be appreciated!
