Correct L-78 motor, frame off restoration!

This is a stunning car no matter where you look. Frame off, nut and bolt restored. Outstanding colors and features including the legendary L-78 motor!

EXTERIOR: Absolutely gorgeous. The blue with no vinyl top and Rally Sport features really make it a knockout. Quality is right at the top. The body is straight as an arrow, has a mirror reflection paint from the rockers to the roof. The paint job was laid out beautifully and has a clear coat finish that looks wet. The white stripe was properly painted on. All of the chrome trim is new- the bumpers, emblems, marker lights, hood grills, mirror, door handles, tail lights etc. The grill looks like new. The windshield and rear window have been replaced. Deluxe trim on top of the doors looks new. Has Rally wheels with new bright shiny trim on BFG tires. Door jambs are really slick and detailed. Weatherstrip, sill plates and window seals were replaced.

INTERIOR: It is completely restored. I just sat in the car and I could immediately tell the cushions are on the new. It has the black and white houndstooth deluxe upholstery that has all been replaced. I noticed all the interior lights work, even in the console. All new reproduction seat belts, those are not cheap. Has new Deluxe door panels with the molded in armrest. The console is all new including horseshoe shifter and bezel. Looking at the dash it also looks new. The heater controls, trim, steering wheel, knobs, vents, dash pad all look new. It has new carpet with reproduction floor mats. The headliner, visors and mirror have been replaced. The window cranks, rear package tray, kick panels all look new. Light works in the glove box. Not only is it all new but it looks professionally installed. There is also a Secret Audio stereo control in the console.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Has correct L-78 396-375 hp motor. Correct casting codes on block, heads, exhaust manifolds and intake. Block is dated 1 month before the build date of the car, perfect. Pad was decked when rebuilt, still has partial numbers that are difficult to read. Strong runner, has the big rectangular port heads matched to the GM aluminum intake. Has the correct curved neck radiator with GM hoses and clamps, correct air cleaner and valve covers. Correct spring clamp battery cables. Everything is detailed. It is show quality. I also noticed everything looks proper and complete. The squirters are hooked up, all the vacuum for the headlight doors, fan and shroud etc are all like new.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It's restored and detailed, in the trunk has a really nice coat of grey and white spatter finish. Good, clean metal. Tail light housings don't have overspray on them. It has a rubber mat and tire cover. Has a rally wheel spare and the jack. Hidden up under the deck is the Secret Audio system, CD changer 6x9 speakers. Bottom of the trunk lid and jamb are painted super slick. Has the jacking instruction decal, new weather strip.

UNDERSIDE: Frame off restored, the bottom of this car is exceptionally clean. It's so clean they painted it gloss black! Up front the suspension is all rebuilt, has disc brakes. Correct spiral shocks are at all four corners. Bottom of the motor is spotless, new starter. Turbo 400 automatic is also spotless. Has posi 12 bolt rear. All the hardware, lines, e-brake cables, linkages, u-joints are replaced. New fuel tank. Replaced exhaust with transverse muffler. Has bolt on frame connectors.

Now that I've inspected the car I love it even more. It checks all the boxes!
