#s match, stored the last 24 years!

Just out of 24 year storage! I sold this car in 1995 to the same people I just bought it back from. It has been garage kept and they only put on 100 miles on it! It is a real 442, verified right in the vin. #s match motor and trans.

EXTERIOR: It really shows well because the paint is very glossy, the body is very straight and fits really right. There are a few touch ups, but again it really shows well. The Sienna color is rare. Has a metal flake with a clear coat finish. Polished, very smooth finish. Has correctly applied 442 striping on the hood, trunk and sides. Has good original chrome, trim and glass. In front it has the 442 grills and 2 of the original T-3 headlights. In back it has the 442 bumper with cutouts for the trumpet exhaust. Has original Empire Olds dealer emblem. Vinyl top is in excellent shape. Jambs and weatherstrips are nice. Bottom of doors are clean, shuts nice.

INTERIOR: Not perfect, but a really well cared for, unabused interior. New carpet and replace some missing buttons on the seat and it will be excellent. I'm looking at the dash and all the chrome plastic bezels are still shiny, the heater controls, radio, inside the glove box, the vents even the ashtray and cigarette lighter are clean. Up overhead the mirror is excellent, visers and headliner are excellent. The overhead light works. The upholstery and door panels are really nice. Seat belts, seat backs, rear shelf, armrests are excellent.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Very clean, proper engine compartment. It has the VIN number matched 455 Rocket motor with 340 horsepower. It's all very tidy and proper. The motor is painted the correct blue, valve covers are chrome. The brackets, hoses, power brake booster, fan shroud etc are all nice shape. Also has power steering. The firewall has assembly line crayon markings. Front radiator support is clea metal painted smooth satin black.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Very solid metal, correct Olds felt mat. The spare has an original Wide Oval Super Sport tire. Jack assembly looks complete. Bottom of the trunk lid is still the original paint and decals. Jamb is painted slick.

UNDERSIDE: Solid original metal, no patches, no undercoat or paint to hide anything. It is just as it left the factory. Up front the suspension still has some assembly line markings. The front end was rebuilt. The ball joints are new, springs and shocks have been replaced. Has disc brakes, calipers look fresh. Bottom of the motor is clean, starter looks new. The turbo 400 automatic is vin matched to the car. In back the springs and shocks were replaced. It has the FE2 sport suspension which includes sway bars and boxed control arms.

Not a perfectly restored car but a very nice, unabused car. This is an opportunity to buy a very desirable midsize GM muscle car in collector quality!
