Bright red, very healthy motor, top goes down- fun car!

Here is a firecracker- bright red with racing stripes, 2 big ram air scoops and a motor that sounds like a race car!

EXTERIOR: Very sexy. The body is real straight and smooth, even along the bottoms. The ram air hood is fiberglass and doesn't fit perfectly. The paint is extra bright red polished to a high gloss. White stripes are painted on. It has sport mirrors. Upfront the grills, headlight bezels and bumper are exceptional. Rear bumper is excellent. The windshield is new. SS lll wheels have good Firestone tires. The black convertible power top is good, has glass rear window.

INTERIOR: The white seat upholstery was replaced, there is a button that popped off. It has a fold down center armrest. The door panels are good original. It has working power windows. A nice set of Phantom gauges and tachometer were added. It also has a Pioneer stereo.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It was upgraded with a very healthy Chevy 383-425 hp stroker motor. It has a hot cam, aluminum heads, a set of long tube headers, aluminum intake with a dual feed Holley carb. It also has an HEI ignition system, chrome fuel pump and a fuel regulator. Its dressed up with a matched set of finned aluminum valve covers and air cleaner. The front of the motor has a chrome alternator and pulleys. It runs cool thanks to the aluminum radiator, aluminum water pump and dual electric fans. It features power steering and power brakes.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Spatter painted compartment. Under the lid and jamb are glossy. It has SS lll wheel for a spare.

UNDERSIDE: The front end was rebuilt- balljoints, shocks, tie rod ends, bushings and springs look new. In back the control arm bushings are new, has air shocks. Nicely built custom 2.5 exhaust with crossover pipe and Flowmaster mufflers. New fuel tank, straps and sending unit. Bottom of the motor has custom extra capacity chrome oil pan. The trans was upgraded to a Turbo 400, rebuilt with a 2,500 stall converter. Driveshaft and u-joints look new. 10 bolt rear end has a chrome cover. It has disc brakes in front.

This motor is snappy! It sounds like popcorn popping at an idle. Someone will have exciting times in this convertible!
