Lowest mile 59 Impala in existence- 3 original miles!

Only 2 actual miles! This car is part of one of the most intriguing car collecting stories of all time. 25,000 people gathered in a town of 1,700 to witness and participate in the selling off of the Lambrecht Chevrolet collection which this car was a part of. Ray Lambrecht and 1 mechanic ran a Chevy dealer from 1946-1996. He amassed a 500 car collection of trade-ins and some "new" cars that were never sold like this 59 Impala. Unfortunately the cars were not cared for properly. This car was in a building that had it's roof collapse. All the cars in the building were dragged outside and left for decades. The first and only owner bought this car at the 2013 sale. He very carefully restored it to new condition while preserving it's originality best as possible.

EXTERIOR: This is a beautiful car. The 2 tone, tailfins and cats eyes taillights make it pretty cool. The body has no rust or damage. Doors shut like a new car. It was professionally repainted it's original colors. It has a very smooth glossy finish. The original weather strips are very good. The Bumpers were rechromed, the original trim was professionally polished and straightened. Original wheels were sand blasted and painted. It has new US Royal reproduction white wall tires. There are new headlights, the original T-3s are included.

INTERIOR: A new interior kit from Impala Bob's was professionally installed. New cushions, upholstery, door panels etc. The wiring, dash, steering column etc was thoroughly gone through to make it function properly, right down to the clock. Cigarette lighter and the ashtray were never used. It has a radio delete plate. The original glove box is nice, has the owner's manual.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The engine compartment is very well preserved with a bit of detailing done. It is of course the original motor, it's never been apart. It runs smooth. It has new valve cover gaskets and the motor was carefully repainted Chevy orange. There is still some factory overspray on the exhaust manifolds. The original carb was rebuilt. The hoses and clamps were all replaced with GM reproductions, originals are included. It has the original generator, belt, radiator, the paint on the firewall is the original, the hinges are clean. It has new hood insulation. It has a reproduction Delco tar top battery. There is a new master cylinder, the original is included.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It was repainted very nicely. The spare is a repainted rim with matching reproduction tire. It has complete jack assembly. There is a new trunk liner. It also includes a tub with some original parts that were replaced on the car. There is a tub with some other extras like touch up paint, extra hubcaps. A nice display board is included and shop manuals.

UNDERSIDE: It has been cleaned and carefully touched up. The floors are painted, the chassis is black. The brakes were rebuilt. It has new fuel system. The original Powerglide automatic trans and original rear with 3.36 gears both function fine. It has original spiral shocks.

This car has such a great story. Whether it's in your private collection or at a car shop it is certainly a conversation piece. How many cars are in the world from the 1950s with under 100 miles? Probably none! There is an enclosed trailer available if you want to show it and not add miles.
