Screen Used Black Beauty Movie Car from Green Hornet. No Reserve

Actual screen used Black Beauty from the Green Hornet movie staring Seth Rogan. A total of 29 cars were built and used, most did not survive and were scrapped. This is one of the few surviving stunt cars.

First, if you are thinking this is a restored driver that your going to hop in and drive across the US, it is not that type of car. It's way cooler! Anyone can get a restored Imperial but few will have the opportunity to own a famous gun toting, missel holding superhero car. For the movie nearly all of the cars factory accessories were disconnected for the modifications needed for its movie use. Someone could fairly easily return the car to streetable condition by reconnecting and repairing the necessary accessories.

The original engine was replaced with a performance 350 Chevrolet V8, a TH400 trans and a 9" rear end were also installed. The gas tank was replaced with a fuel cell and the brakes were upgraded to 4 wheel disc. The seats have been reupholstered, dash, door panels are original, headliner is black fabric. The windshield has a protective safety coating applied by production, and the windshield is cracked. New windshields are available for $425.

The body on the car is very clean and shows no sign of mentionable rust. The undercarriage is very clean and solid as is the trunk. The car has been repainted, its better than most movie cars I have seen but it is not a nut and bolt, in and out paint job. Its a 10 footer. The chrome appears to be very good original condition.

What makes this car unique is it is the weapons version of the black beauty with all the guns, the cool grill and big wheels. The guns on the car are screen used original guns that use propane to simulate real gunfire, sound and flash. These guns were removed and kept by Sony from all of the other stunt cars, these escaped removal because they were in the trunk.

There are movie cars and then there are cars that are movie characters, this is one of those cars that are just as much a character as the actors, if not more. Rare opportunity as movie cars are becoming harder to obtain.
