Body off frame restored! Power steering and disc brakes.

Body off frame restored, under this car is exceptionally nice. Very desirable 512 code big block motor.

EXTERIOR: The body shows really well. It is actually very straight, all the panels align just right. The paint is polished to a very smooth glossy finish, no vinyl top. The white hockey stick stripes are properly applied. The jambs are painted neatly, we are putting on new weatherstrips. It is also dressed up with spoilers, cowl hood and the exterior trim package. Most of the trim, lenses, emblems, bumpers look new. It sits proud on a set of chrome staggered wheels- 18s in front, 20s in back. New performance tires.

INTERIOR: I would say the interior is good overall. A new dash pad fits real nice. The console, instrument area all looks to be good original. It has a deluxe rosewood steering wheel. It was upgraded with a modern Bluetooth stereo. The seat upholstery and carpet are good. The door panels have a few nicks. The headliner was replaced, has some minor wrinkles. The visors and mirror were replaced.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Strong running 427 motor with the very desirable 512 casting number. It has a hot cam, Edelbrock aluminium intake, Holley carb and a set of ceramic coated long tube headers. The motor is dressed up nice with chrome valve covers, air cleaner and timing chain cover. Features include power steering and power brakes, the booster is cadmium plated. The wiring harness looks, wiper motor and horns look new. It has proper shroud, clutch fan and upgraded aluminium radiator. The battery is bolted down. It has an external vacuum pump to compensate for the performance cam.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Clean, all metal trunk with a nice spatter finish paint. The bottom of the trunk lid and the jamb are painted nice like the car. The weather strip and the trunk latch are both new.

UNDERSIDE: The body was off the frame. Just about everything under this car looks close to new. The front end looks like it's been completely rebuilt. The control arm bushings, shocks, ball joints, springs, spindles and steering components look new. Looking up at the motor it is a clean Chevy orange. It has a chrome flywheel cover and chrome trans pan on a Turbo 400 automatic. The trans and the components attached to it are clean. The driveshaft and u-joints look fresh. It has a 12 bolt 3.36 posi in back with a chrome cover. The rear springs, bushings and shocks look recent. The brake system was gone through. New disc brake assembly in front. New hoses, lines and e-brake cables. Custom fat exhaust with x-pipe and stainless mufflers. The fuel tank, straps, sending unit, lines and fuel pump were replaced. The floors, inner quarters and rockers are clean metal with a smooth semi gloss finish.

This is a sharp looking Camaro, the color makes it stand out from the others. It will make a great driver, everything underneath looks new.

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle.
