Meticulous ground up restoration, no rust!

This is a real V-8 Bel Air hardtop. California built, has 1 piece bumper. Lived out west, zero rust original metal. This is a meticulously built car. It is dialed in- doesn't smoke or leak, shifts properly, functions like it should.

EXTERIOR: Factory color combination of Matador red and Adobe beige- code 763. This is a rust free body. Restored 10 years ago and there's not a bubble or crack anywhere I could find. It is absolutely straight, everything fits beautifully. The paint is polished out to very smooth, high gloss finish. California cars have a one piece bumper and this one has the optional bumper guards that extends all the way across the front grill. All the trim was new or restored. The front end sparkles. The stainless trim down the sides and all around the windows is straight and polished. It has optional stone shields on the front fenders, rocker moldings, fingernail gaurds on the handles and a correct antenna. In back the taillight bezels sparkle, the bumper is rechromed. Door jambs are neatly painted, the hardware, weather strips and sill plates are excellent. The doors shut beautifully and the little flippers on top of the windows work. The glass is clear. It has correct rims, hubcaps and wide whites.

INTERIOR: I literally said "wow" when I sat in this car. The dash is gorgeous. The metal is painted slick as glass and all the chrome is sparkling. The wonderbar radio was converted internally to FM, the clock was rebuilt with quartz movement, glovebox light works. New steering wheel is 2 inches smaller. The seats are reupholstered in the correct materials with the chrome piping. The door panels were replaced. The perforated headliner and visors are nice, dome light works. The window handles and cranks were replaced. The correct tight loop carpet is on the floor. The kick panels and up under the dash is restored. New wiring harness throughout the car. There is a gauge cluster neatly installed.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: "Wow" again, the motor compartment is beautiful. All the finishes are smooth. It looks like it just came out of the factory. The original 265 motor was rebuilt. It has a power pack which includes 4 barrel carb, original manifolds, valve covers, Rochester carb and air cleaner. It also has the correct glass bowl fuel filter, proper hose clamps and original power steering unit mounted on the generator. The wipers are optional electric wipers. The battery is bolted down properly.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Clean metal is painted adobe beige. It has the correct rubber mat, a Silvertown white wall that's never been used and the rim is painted. It has the complete jack assembly. Wiring, weatherstrip and decal was replaced. A car cover is included.

UNDERSIDE: No rust original metal. It's been cleaned and painted black. The front end has been rebuilt. The brakes have been rebuilt, e-brake assembly is hooked up. New shocks. The power steering looks new. It has a complete stainless dual exhaust system with optional tips. The fuel system including tank, straps, sending unit and lines were replaced. Looking up at the motor it is clean, has correct canister type oil filter. The original Powerglide auto was rebuilt. The original rear end is detailed, has 3.55 gears.

You would have to look at many, many tri- five Chevy to find one as good as this. It's not just a pretty face, it knows how to cook too!
