1 of 480 made!! Only production car sold new with Cragars.

We have an extremely rare car here folks. This is 1 of only 480 Dart GT Chargers ever made. It is listed in the registry. This was a performance package that included a new Comando motor, 4-speed and a posi. This was the only production car to ever be sold new with Cragar wheels! This car has loads of documentation- 2 binders and a display board. Included is a build sheet, magazine articles, literature and original dealer paperwork. Built in California then Barcus Motors sold it new to Lonnie Hoveyin in Oregon. Ground up restored in 2015, it is exceptionally nice throughout.

EXTERIOR: This is a special springtime color- pale yellow. Excellent fit and finish. New sill plates. New Cragar wheels and BFG tires The fit and finish is amazing on this body. It is laser straight, the gaps are precise. It is smooth, there's no signs of damage or rust. The paint is laid out smooth and glossy. Overall the trim is excellent. The bumpers have been rechromed. The grill and tail panel are good originals. The Cragar wheels are new and with BFG tires. Vinyl top is excellent, windshield is new. The jambs are painted real slick, even up by the hinges. New weatherstrips and expensive sill plates.

INTERIOR: Yep, that's a Hurst 4-speed between those bucket seats! The overall condition is very impressive. New cushions in the seats with Legendary upholstery. The dash area looks pristine. The trim was rechromed, gauges and heater controls are mint. It has original am radio, nothing cut or broken. The metal trim is repainted gloss black. It has original deluxe wheel in excellent shape. On the floor it has newer carpet, the rare chrome shifter bezel is like new, it has optional seat belts. The door panels and headliner are mint.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: This is a very detailed, show quality motor compartment. All the metal is clean and straight, it's painted a smooth gloss yellow just like the outside. The fender tag is still attached. The motor was completely rebuilt less then 1,500 miles ago. It was bored 30 over, heads were rebuilt and upgraded with hardened valve seats to run on pump gas. The motor looks like factory new, it is detailed. It has date coded plug wires and Pertronix ignition in the distributor. I have a receipt for $1,600 from Carburetor Specialists for a restored Carter 4 barrel. The stock valve covers must be rare as hens teeth and they are mint. They have correct crinkle finish with ribbed aluminium trim. The correct air cleaner has new chrome and Charger 273 pie tin. The alternator looks new, new battery bolted down properly, the washer bottle is hooked up to the squirters, wiring is tidy. The radiator was recored.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Looks like new in here to. The quarters and trunk floor look original and are rock solid. It's repainted smooth glossy yellow. The correct jack is restored and properly mounted. It even has a new matching chrome Cragar and new BF Goodrich tire. New trunk mat and weatherstrip.

UNDERSIDE: All of the chassis components were bead blasted and painted. The front end was completely rebuilt. Original close ratio 4-speed was rebuilt. New clutch and pressure plate. Rebuilt driveshaft. The rear end was upgraded from a 3.23 sure grip to a 3.55. New pinion seal and yoke. The brakes and wheel bearings were replaced. Shocks were replaced. There is a lot of money invested in the correct exhaust including Chrysler resonator and chrome square tip. New HD rear springs and shackles.

This car is cool on many levels. Extremely rare, exceptionally clean and has desirable features. I had never heard of this car before, actually none of us at Volo have. I find it very interesting and unique. The only factory car sold new with Cragar wheels really intrigued me. This comes with a nice display board, it will make a great conversation piece. The documentation tells a great story.
