Rotisserie restored in 2008. Crate Hemi, Dana rear, air grabber!

This is a real Road Runner that has been rotisserie restored and upgraded with a crate 472-525 hp Hemi motor. Also upgraded 5-speed, heavy duty Dana 60 rear end and disc brakes.

EXTERIOR: Real sharp looking the way it's set up with the colors, spoiler, stance and wheels. I like 1970 the best because of the stripes they offered. This one has a clean, straight body. The gaps are square, I don't see any bubbles or problem areas. It's smooth all along the bottoms. Repainted Hemi orange with a smooth, glossy finish. The matte black stripes are painted on the hood and it has the "dust trail" decal with the running Roadrunner going down the sides. It has a functional ram charger hood scoop that opens and hood pins. The vinyl top is in excellent condition. It has good original glass, the windshield was replaced. In front the grill and bumper look great. Door handles and mirror look new. The stainless trim was replaced but has some dents. In back it has blacked out tail panel and rechromed bumper. The chrome Cragers and BFG tires were recently added to the car.

INTERIOR: It's restored nicely inside. Down on the floor the carpet has been replaced, it has Road Runner floor mats and the best part is the big Hurst pistol grip shifter sticking out of the hump. It even has an updated 5-speed shift pattern on the handle. The seats have been reupholstered, door panels replaced including the armrests, bases, window cranks and handles. The metal was repainted black. Overhead has a new tight fitting headliner, working dome light, the mirror and visors are excellent. In front of me is a clean instrument panel, not broken or cut. It's been cleaned up and touched up. nicely as the rally pack gauges and also has an aftermarket Sun tachometer on the column.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: $17,129 short block crate motor right from Mopar. Increased cubic inches from the original 426 to a 472 and it makes 525 hp, 540 lbs of torque. 9 to 1 compression allows the use of premium pump gas. On top it has a single Holley dual feed carb with an aluminum Mopar intake. Chrome valve covers and also a set of headers. The front of the motor has an aluminum water pump, chrome pulleys and alternator. The engine bay is clean solid metal all painted orange. It has the original fender tag. Everything looks proper- the battery is bolted down properly, the "beep beep" Roadrunner horn works, it has a washer bottle. There's a receipt for $3,000 for the complete Ramcharger system. It has functional ram air using a cable inside the car. It also features power brakes.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It has a correct restored jack assembly.

UNDERSIDE: Rottiserie restored means just that. It was mounted on a big rotisserie and flipped on it's side so the bottom could be restored like new. The floors and frame rails are clean metal. No patches, factory ribs, seams and drain holes. The entire bottom was painted gloss Hemi orange. Looking up at the motor it is still spotless. New flywheel cover. I have the receipt for the Keisler transmission conversion which includes their custom built Tremec TKO 600 using upgraded parts including bellhousing. It has a hydraulic Chrysler performance clutch kit. I also have the receipt for a new Moser Dana 60 rear with 35 spline axles, bearing kit and a 3 Series traction lok with 3.73 gears. The brakes were redone and it has a disc brake conversion kit. The front end is all rebuilt with a PST kit. Everything was replaced from spindles to cotter pins. Upgraded KYB gas shocks. Great sounding Flowmaster exhaust system. The fuel system was replaced including the tank, straps and the lines.

Restoration was finished in 2008. It has been well cared for since, we have a pile of receipts from the recent owner. This car was driven back from an hour away and ran great.
