Professionally hand crafted a few hundred miles ago.

This is an outstanding tribute to the ultra rare Rolls Royce speedster from the 30s. Jay Leno has one (pictured below). Only a few hundred miles on a complete ground up build. Built on a 1955 Chrysler chassis and running gear, titled as 1955 Chrysler.

EXTERIOR: This is an all steel, hand crafted body. Polished stainless hood. "Spirit of Ecstasy" Rolls Royce hood ornament. It has a removable convertible top. Genuine chrome wire wheels with Rolls-Royce Center emblems mounted on Michelin tires is a matching sight mounted spare Starting upfront it has a polished tubular bumper, bullet style turn signals, fog lamps and big original style Lucas tri-bar headlights. Unmistakable Rolls-Royce grill with the "Spirit of Ecstasy" hood ornament. The hood and sides are polished stainless steel. It has chrome latches and a leather strap to keep it secure. The boattail speedster body has functioning doors. Slick black paint and the top of the boat tail has an incredible painted on faux wood design. There's a pop up aluminum gas cap, original style tail light, reverse lights and turn signals. There's a polished tubular bumper that matches the front. Each wheel has a polished pontoon fender. Genuine wire wheels with the floating RR emblem that always stays upright. It has a side mounted spare,, all 5 have Michelin tires. It has a chrome windshield frame with wing windows. A tonneau cover easily snaps in place to cover the interior. There is a convertible top included but really this is a fair weather car. The top doesn't fit and function like on a new car.

INTERIOR: It is actually very roomy inside, much more room than the original cars of this era. All new seat with a formed cushion. All of the upholstery is genuine soft leather. In front of me is a Moto Lita Rolls Royce steering wheel on a tilt column. The dash panel is polished stainless and uses 1955 Chrysler gauges and knobs. There is also a Sun Pro tachometer. There is a functional heater. There is also an air conditioner that would need to be serviced. On the floor it has new carpet with bound edges and matching mats. It also has seat belts.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The seat folds forward and there is a locking door to the trunk compartment. It's been carpeted. The battery is located back there in a battery box.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It has a 331-300 hp Hemi motor from a 1955 Chrysler 300. It has been completely rebuilt. New Edelbrock carb and billet distributor. Restored to show quality condition. Every component is painted and looks new. Original chrome Firepower valve covers. The radiator is painted high gloss black and has a custom stainless shroud. It has power brakes. New wiring and a horn.

UNDERSIDE: Under this car is completely restored mechanically and cosmetically. It's all fresh and proper. It has a 1955 Chrysler chassis with a big boxed frame. The front end is completely rebuilt- all new bushings, springs, shocks, steering components and even the hardware is new down to the cotter pins. New rear shocks and the leaf springs are wrapped in leather. It has a straight pipe dual stainless with flared tips. Rebuilt drum brakes at all four wheels. Looking up at the motor it's spotless, new starter. It has a rebuilt 727 Torqueflite automatic with a chrome pan. Custom driveshaft with new U-joints. Chrysler 8 3/4 rear end. Custom made stainless fuel tank with an electric fuel pump. All new wiring is run in braided looms.

I don't know how many millions the original is worth but this car will turn as many heads and is much more comfortable and powerful. The quality is very impressive. The person that built this is a professional. He has restored many of our museum pieces. Doesn't a hemi motor in an open air boattail speedster sound exhilirating?

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail.
**These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded and you will be given a 1 year membership.
