P rack & pinion, 4 wheel disc, 3.42 posi. Dialed in!

It has a 1971 Corvette LT-1 NOS motor that was new from Chevy! This is a strong running, great handling car. Very well sorted and dialed in. Turn key ready, nothing to do but enjoy!

EXTERIOR: It's a tough looking Camaro. It presents itself really well, the body is super straight and the gaps fit real nice. There's no signs of rust or damage, it's smooth even all along the bottoms. Repainted bright torch red, the finish is polished very smooth and glossy. There are some minor imperfections if you look for them. It has painted on stripes, a metal cowl hood, spoilers and no vinyl top. Overall the chrome and trim are real nice shape. It has the optional moldings on top of the doors. Jambs are painted nicely. It has new weatherstrips and sill plates. It's sitting on chrome plated 15 inch rally wheels with some beefy size BFGoodrich tires.

INTERIOR: It has a black deluxe interior that is mostly new. Down on the floor the carpets have been replaced, it has floor mats and complete set of original GM seat belts. A Hurst 4-speed is sticking out of the hump in the floor. It has extended seat track for tall people, the seat slides back an extra few inches. The seats are reupholstered with the deluxe upholstery and new cushions. The deluxe molded door panels have been replaced. Above is a tight fitting headliner in excellent shape, the visors look new, dome light works and it has the original shoulder belts. In front of me is a new dash pad, a real nice looking instrument panel, the heater controls are clean. It has an after market cushion grip steering wheel, a tachometer on the column and a gauge cluster below the dash. It has a stereo cassette player with 6x9 speakers in back and speakers in the kick panels.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Here's something that's pretty unique: the motor was a New Old Stock never before run LT1 350. It was a warranty replacement engine that was never used until put in this car. It has it's original solid lift cam and lifters, 202 angle plug heads, 4-bolt Main LT1 pistons and timing chain and forged pistons. On top is an Edelbrock intake with a Holley 750 dual feed carb and an Excel electronic ignition system. It also has a set of shorty headers. Dressed up with nice looking finned aluminum valve covers, the motor is freshly painted, it has chrome pulleys and fan. New belts and hoses. A 4 row radiator keeps it cool. The engine compartment is straight, clean metal painted semi gloss black. It features power steering.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It has a rock solid trunk compartment that's been sprayed in a aqua and gray spatter finish. The bottom of the trunk lid and the jamb are painted gloss red. It has a carpeted mat with bound edges, new weatherstrip and a spare but no jack.

UNDERSIDE: This Camaro had a body off frame restoration. The whole underside of the car is restored. Upfront everything's been replaced- ball joints, bushings, springs, shocks and upgraded sway bar. It also has rack and pinion steering system. Frame connectors tie the front to the back. It has Caltrac tubular traction bars, new springs, shocks, bushings and Hotchkis sway bar. Upgraded brake system with disc at all four wheels, new parking brake assembly. It has a 2 1/5 inch custom exhaust system with x-pipe and Flowmaster mufflers. New fuel tank sending unit and fuel lines. Looking up at the motor it has a custom oil pan and a high torque starter. It has an M20 Muncie 4-speed with a centerforce clutch, Hurst competition shifter with a reverse lockout. In back is a 10 bolt rear end with a 3.42 posi and finned aluminum cover. Clean rust free floors and they've been painted gloss black.

This Camaro is dialed in. It's from a good seller, he is a collector that owns a repair shop. He goes through his cars thoroughly. It is turn key ready to enjoy.

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail.
