X77 code Z-28, 71 code Lemans blue! Gauges, cowl induction.

According to the trim tag it is an X77 code for a Z-28 and a factory born LeMans blue with no vinyl top. I acquired this car from the person I sold it to 17 years ago. This is a very desirable Z considering it's colors and options.

EXTERIOR: The 69 Camaro is one of the best looking body designs which is why they are so popular today. This one especially- LeMans blue without a vinyl top and white painted stripes. It also has spoilers, cowl hood and exterior trim group. The body and paint are at least 20 years old and still show very well. It is really smooth along the bottoms, panels fit nice. The paint is laid out evenly with a glossy clear coat. Upfront the spoiler, lenses, grill, bumper are all in excellent shape. The stainless moldings around the windows look like new, the mirrors were replaced. In back the bumper, bumper guards and spoiler are excellent. Door jambs are real clean, the weatherstrips were replaced. The Z-28 was the only Camaro to have 15 inch rally wheels, the trim is in excellent shape. BFG tires look like new.

INTERIOR: The interior has a lot of nice features including an 8 grand tachometer, center console with the gauge package and a quartz movement clock. It also has a Rosewood deluxe steering wheel. Down on the floor the carpet looks good, it has reproduction rubber mats and the original seat belts. The seats have been reupholstered, the door panels armrests window cranks have been replaced. The dash pad was replaced, the heater control panel is excellent, it has the original AM radio. The instrument panel is in really nice shape- not cut or broken. There is a CD stereo tucked away in the glove box. Overhead is a nice fitting headliner, dome light works, visors and mirror look good.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Legendary DZ 302 motor. Correct casting codes and dates. Matching codes and vin are stamped on the motor. It has double hump heads, correct aluminum intake and a Holley carb. The cowl induction system is complete. It also has the deep groove pulleys and finned aluminum valve covers which are correct for a Z. It features power disc brakes. The motor compartment is proper and clean. A good detail and touch up could bring it to show quality.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Solid metal with spatter paint finish. It has a reproduction rubber trunk mat. A car cover is included.

UNDERSIDE: The front end was redone years ago. The springs and shocks look fresh. The rear leaf springs, bushings and shocks look fresh too. Fresh looking dual exhaust with stainless clamps, transverse muffler and crossover pipe. The floors are all clean solid metal. The driver side floor pan was professionally replaced. It has disc brakes in front. The e-brake assembly is hooked up.

Z-28.....that was the option code that gave the Camaro an all around high performance package. Not just a straight line slingshot but it new how to handle, stop and perform like a road racer! Pretty to look at and exhilarating to drive!
