Believed to be a original fuel injected car!

Believed to be an original fuel injected car. It has 6,500 redline tachometer, 80 pound oil pressure and round opening in core support for the air intake. Same owner the last 24 years.

EXTERIOR: Split Window, that's the magic ticket! One of the most collectible Corvettes of all time. I've been dealing with these for years, they just keep going up, up, up in value. This one is sharp looking driver quality. The body has some issues in the front end with cracks. The Riverside red is a bright red and is glossy on this car. The chrome is good, not new. The gas cap lid is new. The grills that go on the hood are new but need to be installed. The correct hubcaps are in excellent shape on red rims and radial tires.

INTERIOR: Real sharp looking in bright red. The carpets look like they've been replaced front to back. The headliner and all the trim is excellent. Door panels look new. Seats are good. The instruments are in excellent shape. It has the 6,500 redline tachometer and the 80 pound oil pressure gauge which is correct for a fuel injected car. New odometer. The dash pads hav cracks in them. It has the correct reverse lockout shifter and original radio.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Correct 327-300 hp motor. Casting code is proper but the pad was decked clean during rebuild. Overall the motor compartment looks clean. It has an Edelbrock carb and Corvette finned aluminum valve covers. It also features power brakes.

UNDERSIDE: It has been maintained. The front end was rebuilt. It looks like the bushings, balljoints, tie rod ends were replaced. In back it also has independent suspension, the bushings look like they were replaced. 1963 the brakes were drum. The hoses were replaced and the e-brake assembly was replaced. The exhaust looks like the correct type. Bottom of the motor is not greasy. The transmission was just rebuilt, the shifter was repaired, the flywheel was cut and it has a new clutch. Correct code CJ 3.08 posi rear.

This is a sharp looking driver. It also has potential to be restored and put back as a fuelie car. The split window is such an iconic car, people love them.

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail.
**These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded and you will be given a 1 year membership.
