#58 of 200! 9,300 miles. Bicentennial Edition, last convertible.

9,315 qactual miles. 1 owner in southern California until 2010. #58 of only 200 Bicentennial Editions made total. Not only was this the last of the Cadillac convertibles made, but the last of any American manufactured convertible. The last 200 convertibles to roll off the assembly line were all identical. Each one was fully loaded, painted Cotillion white, hubcaps are white and have red and blue pinstripes. Inside each car has white leather with red piping and accents. Each car was also given a dash plaque certifying this is one of the last 200 convertibles made in America.

Documentation- Certificate of Authenticity from Cadillac, glovebox envelope with manuals, original registrations, pictures at the dealer the day of purchase, recent pictures with original owner, maintenance records.

EXTERIOR: Each one was painted cotillion white with red and blue pin stripes. Each one also has white hubcaps. It lived in California almost all of it's life so it has no rust. There's no damage either. This long body is straight. The plastic fillers between the bumper and the body crack from age on these car's. They were replaced and match perfectly. The white paint is believed to be original, it has a nice shine. It has the hard parade boot. The white convertible power top is in excellent shape. Rocker moldings, side moldings and around the windshield are shiny and straight. The chrome bumpers, grill are excellent. It has reproduction American Classic tires with the wide stripe. Jambs are good original. Weather strips are good original. The original windshield is crystal clear.

INTERIOR: I'm sitting in this living room on wheels. It is fully decked out with options and it's in very nice original condition. It has power seat on each side, reclining driver side, power windows, power locks, power antenna, power top, rear window defoger, factory AM-FM stereo with 8 track player, cruise control, climate control, auto headlight dimmer, delay wipers and tilt-telescopic wheel. All the Bicentennials had white leather with red piping. The leather is still soft, no tears, but isn't brand new white anymore. It has red carpet and dash. The dash pad, instrument panel, knobs, vents and bezels are in really nice shape. No cracks in the steering wheel. The door panels are real good, there's a few wrinkles on the driver's door. It still has the Cadillac dealer's preferred customer sticker on the back of the review mirror. Interior lights work, even the clock is working.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: 500 cubic inches, the biggest motor put in a car at that time. It runs smooth. The motor compartment is very clean, all stock condition. It has been maintained as needed over the years. The hydro boost brake booster was rebuilt.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It's a power release trunk and it has the automatic closer to pull it down tight. It has it's original gray liner, tire cover and boot bag. The jack has never been used. The original collapsible spare has never been used, it has the air bottle and the wooden block to wedge under the tire. There is CD changer in the trunk that's operated from a remote. The well liner is mint, the original weather strip has a few nicks. Trunk light works.

UNDERSIDE: Very well preserved original. Being from California there is no rust. The floors are perfectly clean metal. It has factory undercoat and towards the middle is still shows the factory primer. The components and chassis parts are smooth clean metal. Nuts and bolts are all clean. It still has some assembly line markings and tags. Rubber bushings are still good. Fuel and brake lines are clean. It has disc at all 4 wheels, e-brake is hooked up. Correct exhaust looks clean, it still has catalytic converter, muffler and resonator. Bottom of the motor and transmission is clean it's never been spray painted over. It has been maintained, we have the receipts. The CV boots were replaced. It has factory air shocks in back.

This car is a part of automotive history. They did start making convertibles again years later but there will never be a big boat like this ever again. Only 200 made total and I'm sure a few did not survive. Here is your opportunity to own something special that only a few people in the world can have.

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail.
