It is a real Super Sport with all the good stuff that you want. The guy I bought it from kept asking me if I drove it yet. When I did drive it I was impressed. Fast? Oh yeah! It also handles and stops like a sports car. It's been on two Power Tours, this is a car to be driven.

EXTERIOR: The body shows real well. Its straight, there's no damage or rust showing. It has a metal cowl hood and a rear mount power antenna. The paint is a red metallic with a touch of raspberry pearl in the clear. It has a smooth glossy finish. It has a few minor nicks that have been touched up. In front the bumper is rechromed and has custom stainless mesh inserts. The grill and headlight bezels are very good. Upgraded HID headlights. All the stainless trim around the windows and doors are straight and shiny. Door handles and mirrors look new. Tail panel, tail lights and rear bumper look nice. New windshield, the glass is tinted dark. Door jambs look good, weather strips are replaced. It rolls on Billet Specialties 15 inch polished aluminum wheels with BFG tires.

INTERIOR: Down on the floor it has new carpet, some sharp looking black and red rubber mats and it also has carpeted embroidered Super Sport mats. The bucket seats have rare headrests. They are recushioned and reupholstered. The center console is really nice. The shift indicator is updated to match the overdrive. It also has the center cushion with cup holders. The dash pad has been replaced. The instrument bezel, trim, heater control panel are all excellent. It has a deluxe woodgrain wheel. It has a modern Pioneer stereo a remote, 6x9 speakers. There's an Ultralite tachometer with shift light mounted on the pillar. Overhead is a new headliner and visors. The door panels and armrests are new. It has billet door handles power windows all the way around.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: A performance built 406 small black makes this little Nova jump! It has aluminum heads and Edelbrock intake with electronic fuel injection and premium fuel line, fittings and regulator. It also has ceramic coated custom cast iron exhaust manifolds and billet MSD ignition system. The front of the motor has billet brackets and pulleys with serpentine belt, one wire alternator, modern power steering with stainless braided hoses and aluminum a/c compressor. The motor runs cool with dual electric fans, it has a polished overflow bottle. It uses a hydroboost power brake system with a chrome CPP master cylinder.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It was spatter painted and has a carpeted floormat. New weatherstrip and rear seat insulation. The battery has been relocated to the trunk in a stainless steel box and there is a pig tail for a battery tender.

UNDERSIDE: This thing handles like a sports car thanks to it's custom chassis. Up front is a Heidts independent suspension with tubular control arms, coil over adjustable shocks and rack & pinion steering. Welded in frame connectors tie the front to the back to prevent body twist. The rear suspension is rebuilt and upgraded. It has new leaf springs and bushings, Caltracs tubular traction bars and coil over adjustable shocks. The dual exhaust system has a crossover pipe, glass pack style resonators and stainless Magnaflow mufflers. The fuel system has been replaced, it has an electric fuel pump. Brake system was upgraded with Wilwood disc at all for wheels and stainless braided hoses. Looking up at the motor it's clean, it has a chrome ribbed oil pan and a high torque starter. The trans is a TPI performance 700R-4 overdrive automatic. It has a drive shaft safety loop. In back is a 12 bolt posi with a Trick Flow aluminum cover. The floors have been repaired and are solid.

This Nova SS checks the boxes. Cool to look at but the real thrill is driving it!
