Body off frame restored! Nicely upgraded.

Body off frame restored in 2016. This is a great looking Bronco with tasteful upgrades.
I drove it home and to the store. It drove really well compared to others I've been in. These Broncos are incredibly popular. They regularly sell for well over $100,000 at auction with some even exceeding $300,000. It was the first SUV made by Ford.

EXTERIOR: The body was completely restored and is all metal, no rust. New fenders, fender wells, rocker panels, tailgate, lower 1/4s, rear wheel houses and extensions. Painted a bright lime green and given matte black side decals, hood and tailgate patch. It has custom wheel well flares to accommodate the oversize tires. Wheels were replaced- 15x8 Mickey Thompson wheels with Kenda all terrain tires. New chrome vent window assemblies- $550. New windshield wiper assembly, handles and latch assemblies, headlight bezels, lenses etc. New front and rear chrome bumper kits with bumperettes. New windshield. The lift off top was restored- painted matte black, added roof rack and windows are tinted. Jambs are painted real nice. The window fuzzies, and weather strips have been replaced around the doors. New custom mirrors.

INTERIOR: Custom sport seats look and feel great. Many new items including the little stuff like heater switch, heater valve and cables. Brake light, flasher and wipers switches were replaced. On the floor is a new charcoal carpet kit and relocated Hurst shifter. They replaced the steering column with a tilt and a Grant GT wheel. New dash pad, visors, armrests, door panels. Upgraded wiring and Centech fuse block. It has a modern hands free stereo with auxiliary plug.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Restored to look new. The engine bay is clean metal painted gloss green. The 6 cylinder motor runs smooth. Carb was rebuilt, upgraded Spectre filter. New electric wiper motor, master cylinder, steering linkage, fuel pump, plug wires, distributor cap. New fan shroud, overflow bottle is hooked up. Interstate battery has new cables and a disconnect switch.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It has all new carpet and the side panels are new. Gasket was replaced around the tailgate.

UNDERSIDE: The body has been off the frame for a detailed restoration. The floors are all smooth metal painted the same color as the body. The chassis is all done in semi gloss black. The front end has been rebuilt, I can see all new hardware. Upgraded polyurethane bushings throughout the suspension and body mounts. New Rancho Shocks and steering dampner. The brake system has been rebuilt- new hoses, lines, e-brake is hooked up. Looking up at the motor it's clean. Freeze plugs are fresh, the starter was restored. It has original 3-speed manual transmission, hydraulic clutch. New U joints front and back. New factory type exhaust system has welded seams. It also has optional dual fuel tanks. It has all new reproduction plastic fuel tank kit with new sending units.

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle.
