This is a first class hot rod. All steel genuine 1940 Ford. Meticulous body off the frame restoration. It has a timeless look that won't go out of style.

EXTERIOR: This is an all steel car including the fenders. The body work is exceptional, there are no problem areas, no rust, no damage. Everything fits real nicely. The black paint has a beautiful high gloss finish. Every piece of exterior chrome is new or replated. Every piece of stainless is new or polished. Even the window frames and vent window frame look new. It has all new smoked glass including the windshield. All the weather strips and seals were replaced. New ribbed rubber running board covers. The car has a great stance. New original style rims are painted red, have new trim and they are wider in back. Coker Classic radial whitewalls, fatter in back. LED taillights and front turn signals. The convertible top is completely restored. It has a rich black canvas that matches the boot. The framework is all redone, new weatherstrips.

INTERIOR: Professionally reupholstered in red leather. Matching door panels and seats. Premium Mercedes style carpet with matching floor mats and bound edges. The dash is very tastefully done. It has VHX modern gages that have a retro look. The backlit a/c knobs are mounted below. The tilt column has a reproduction 1940 wheel. It has a stereo with speakers in the kick panels. Red seat belts front and back. The fit and finishes are excellent.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Corvette LT-1 fuel injected 350. It has ceramic coated headers, Accel Opti Spark distributor and coated headers. Open the hood and the first impression is wow! It has a chrome a/c compressor and alternator, a modern power steering and power brakes. The engine bay is gloss black. You can just tell by looking it was carefully put together.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It is completely boxed and very nicely upholstered to match the interior. The rear panel opens up for extra storage. Premium carpet on the floor with bound edges.

UNDERSIDE: The body was off the frame for a complete underside restoration. The frame was prepped and painted gloss red. It has a Heidts front end with independent suspension, coil over shocks and rack & pinion steering. In back it has new leaf springs, shocks, bushings, swaybar and lowering blocks. Polyurethane fuel tank with new sending unit. Aluminized exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. Disc brakes in front, drum in back, e-brake cables are hooked up. High torque starter with heat shield. Freshly rebuilt 4L60E electronic shift overdrive automatic. Freshly rebuilt Ford 9 inch with highway friendly 3.00 gears. The floors are spotless metal painted gloss black.

I love the classic look with all its chrome, rubber running boards and vintage wheels. I also love the tastefully done upgrades that make it reliable and comfortable. One of my favorite cars right now.
