Concourse judged. Vin # match motor.

Concourse restored, vin #s matching original motor, documented. It has build sheet and original invoice. We have judging sheets from the MCA concourse class in 1999. It has only had 900 miles put on since. Only 1,628 were made in 1969 as compared to over 7,000 in 1970.

The Boss 302 was an instant automotive legend. Sporty looks, upgraded performance and scarcity made it highly desirable when new and even more so today. Built for Trans Am racing, it was a successful stealing the championship title from Chevy. Of course it featured a performance built motor but what good is that if the car couldn't put it effectively to the pavement. Each car came with a 4-speed, upgraded handling, brakes, exhaust, wheels and tires. There were several sporty appearance upgrades too.

EXTERIOR: The body is excellent. No rust or damage, it is absolutely straight and the gaps are right. The front wheel well lips are folded in on Boss 302s only to clear the 15 inch wheels. They were only available in 4 colors, this one is repainted in it's original Bright Yellow. The 20+ year old paint still looks amazing. It has a smooth glossy finish, minor imperfections if you look for them. They all have a blacked out hood, trunk lid, tail panel and headlight buckets. They also have reflective stripes, sport mirrors and a front spoiler. This one came with the optional rear spoiler, correct louvers were added. All the chrome and stainless looks great. The Magnum wheels look new and have reproduction Polyglass GT tires.

INTERIOR: The interior is excellent. It looks and fits great. Dash pad is mint. Instrument panel is real nice, has factory tachometer. All the knobs, bezels, heater controls, radio are real nice. Upholstery and cushions are great. Tight headliner is excellent. Door panels are excellent including armrests, handles etc. The plastic trim pieces are excellent. Interior lights work. Complete set of seatbelts. It is unabused.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Concourse restored to factory specs. Correct casting code C8FE 6015 B, the vin is on the block behind the intake that matches the car. These motors were unique. They used a stronger 4 bolt main Windsor block with big Cleveland heads that had huge ports and valves, solid lifter cam and more. On top is correct aluminum intake and #s match Holley 780 carb ($2,500 value). The air cleaner assembly is restored and complete. It still has the rev limiter and complete smog system. The reproduction battery is secured properly. The hoses, clamps, plug wires are correct. The metal is perfectly clean with smooth paint finishes. The proper stickers, markings and tags are in place. It features power steering and power brakes. The washer system is complete.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Clean metal painted yellow. Complete with space saver spare and correct jack. The mat and weatherstrip are excellent.

UNDERSIDE: It was restored to concourse condition. It's obvious that every part down to the bushings, hardware lines have been restored or replaced. The floors, frame rails, factory spot welds, seams are all clean. Under the car was correctly painted in primer with the yellow overspray from the body. It has correctly applied under coat behind the rear wheels. The grommets were replaced. The steering and suspension was completely rebuilt and detailed to factory specs. The exhaust was replaced with correct transverse muffler. Fuel system was replaced. The brake system was restored, it has disc in front. Looking up at the motor it is clean. It has a correct top loader 4-speed. 3.50 traction lock rear.

This is the right car, not a resale special. From a serious collector that only has legit cars. It's been judged and scored very well. There's no risk buying this one. I just checked auction results and several of these have sold for well over $200,000 recently.

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail.
**These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded and you will be given a 1 year membership.
