This is a looker! Stance, color, wheels are hot. A/c, ps, pb.

Real GTO, factory red. It's a looker!

EXTERIOR: Wow is this a looker! The red paint, the stance and chrome Cragars grabs your attention. The dual scoops are opened up, it has a hood tachometer and rear spoiler. The sides of the car are very smooth and straight, so are the hood and trunk. The rubber bumper fits nice, it has hairline cracks in the paint. The paint is slick and glossy, there are minor imperfections. The grills are good original condition. The vinyl top has been replaced. Show chromed rear bumper. Taillights, mirror, handles, emblems are replaced. Window fuzzies and weather strips are new. Original metal door edge guards. The 15 inch Cragars with spinners sparkle and they're wrapped with meaty size BFG tires.

INTERIOR: The seats have been recushioned and reupholstered. Down on the floor is new carpet, reproduction mats and original GM seatbelts. The coolest feature is the Hurst dual gate shifter in the console. In front of me is a beautiful deluxe wheel on a tilt column. The instrument bezel has been replaced, the chrome sparkles and the wood grain is new. The dash has a cap. The headliner and visors have been redone. The door panels have been replaced in the front, the backs are original.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Only 2,500 miles on rebuilt 400 motor per previous owner. It has been juiced up with an aluminum intake, giant dual feed Holley carb, HEI ignition and a set of headers. It has factory air conditioning, the compressor has been replaced and updated with 134 freon. There's also power steering and power brakes. It's dressed up with some chrome- valve covers, air cleaner, alternator, radiator cover and more. The inner fenders are gloss black.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Rally ll wheel with a new BFG tire for a spare. Reproduction jack assembly. Solid trunk was spatter painted neatly. The mat and weatherstrip were replaced.

UNDERSIDE: Appears to be solid. Floors, braces and frame are clean. It has a dual exhaust with stainless MagnaFlow mufflers. The fuel tank, straps and sending unit were replaced. All 4 shocks were recently replaced. Drum brakes all around, new e-brake assembly. Bottom of the motor is clean, starter is new. It has original Turbo 400 auto, the 1968 tag is still riveted to the side of it. New u-joints. The rear end was serviced, the cover is freshly painted.

This is a head turner! The stance makes it look like a tough guy. Anyone that sees you driving it will wish they were you.

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail.
